    I'm still new to Android, so, I'm still not so familiar with its libraries and APIs. My first major project is a download manager which supports segmented downloading. I could already download files, but, I still have no idea on how or where to start for segmented downloading. I have already browsed a lot of threads, but I really couldn't find any article or thread about segmented downloading in Android. Can anyone please help me?

  • Building up an array in numpy/scipy by iteration in Python?

    Often, I am building an array by iterating through some data, e.g.: my_array = [] for n in range(1000): # do operation, get value my_array.append(value) # cast to array my_array = array(my_array) I find that I have to first build a list and then cast it (using "array") to an array. Is there a way around these? all these casting calls clutter the code... how can I iteratively build up "my_array", with it being an array from the start? thanks.

    My debugger does not work when I start project in debug mode. But when I set checkbox Allow the source code to different from the original version. Debugger works. But solution not wokrs properly. For example for files with build action "Content" and Copy to outputDirectory to "Copy if newer" does not copy to bin/Debug Is anybody know the solution?

    I'm working on a python class that is being shared between two products. 90% of the functionality applies to both products. For the 10% that's different the code is littered with this kind of thing: #Start of file project = 'B' #Some line of code if project == 'A': import moduleA elif project == 'B': import moduleB #Many lines of code if project == 'A': print moduleA.doA(2) elif project == 'B': print moduleB.doB(2) This doesn't seem very elegant or very readable, has anyone encountered this sort of thing before?     I am using the Jquery Validation plug-in, however i need to add a "custom rule", i have 2 date fields and i need to ensure that the end date is not less than the start date. My problem is how to pass the two fields in as elements.
