    I'm trying to install Valgrind (0.4.0) plugin in Eclipse from technology.linuxtools Update Site (http://download.eclipse.org/technology/linuxtools/update) but I get the following error: Cannot complete the request. See the details. Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements org.eclipse.swt [3.4.1.v3449c]. According to "About plugins", my Eclipse has version 3.4.2 installed.     hi I know about the built-in I18n in Rails, but how can I select a database field per locale? My model structure is something like this: title #default (englisch) title_de #(german) title_it #(italian) In my template I want to be able to write only <%= @model.title %> and should get the value in the right language. Is there a plugin or a solution to use different fields per different locale settings with a structure like mine?

My current solution is to just time the start/stop recording events on the User Interface (literally the time the user hits record, then hits stop recording.)   • Getting rid of the evil delay caused by ShellExecute

    This is something that's been bothering me a while and there just has to be a solution to this. Every time I call ShellExecute to open an external file (be it a document, executable or a URL) this causes a very long lockup in my program before ShellExecute spawns the new process and returns. Does anyone know how to solve or work around this? EDIT: And as the tags might indicate, this is on Win32 using C++.

    For example, these are valid math expressions: a * b + c -a * (b / 1.50) (apple + (-0.5)) * (boy - 1) And these are invalid math expressions: --a *+ b @ 1.5.0 // two consecutive signs, two consecutive operators, invalid operator, invalid number -a * b + 1) // unmatched parentheses a) * (b + c) / (d // unmatched parentheses I have no problem with matching float numbers, but have difficulty with parentheses matching. Any idea? If there is better solution than regular expression, I'll accept as well. But regex is preferred.

Currently, we are rolling our own user, groups, permissions, etc. code and supporting database. I'd like to find something like ASP.NET membership that can help manage user authentication and authorization, rather than risk security issues in continuing to create an increasingly complicated custom solution. Are there any similar projects out there worth taking a look at?
