  I am trying to do webservice (I am quite new in Webservice under java). I am using netbeans. Axis2 is having problem trying to locate the the xml configuration file for mybatis Anyone can tell me how to successfully deploy mybatis configuration. Should I manually copy the configuration under .netbeans\6.8\apache-tomcat-6.0.20_base\webapps\axis2\WEB-INF\classes or there is any other setting?

  I'm trying to make a UITableView that shows a blog post and comments for that post. My setup is a tableview in storyboard with two dynamic prototype cells. The first cell is for the post and should never change. The second cell represents the 0 to N comments.   When I create complex type hierarchies (several levels, several types per level), I like to use the final keyword on methods implementing some interface declaration. I don't want other developers or my users do it. So the final keyword works perfectly for me. My question is: Why is it used so rarely in the wild? Can you show me some examples / reasons where final (in a similar case to mine) would be very bad?

  Hi Im trying to add a app.config file to my dll, but all attempts have failed. According to MusicGenesis in 'Putting configuration information in a DLL' this should not be a problem. So obviously im doing something wrong... The following code should return my connectionstring from my dll : return ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["ConnectionString"]; However, when I copy the app.config file to my console application, it works fine. Any ideas?

• Possible defect with jQuery ':checked' selector (finding checked checkbox when there are none)

  Found a strange thing. The following code is supposed to set a default value for a UI element based on whether one of a group of checkboxes (all having attribute name="privacy") is checked (in say, a form postback). If there is no value in the HTML sent by the server (the form is not a postback), the default value should be firstMenuItemKey. Otherwise, it should be the one checked in the underlying HTML. However, while this works on the first call to the URL that includes the form, a refresh of the page will set the value of defaultPrivacyValue to one of the privacy checkboxes'. I've checked that the server isn't checking the checkbox before the script runs (it's not). I've also checked whether somewhere else in the script is checking the checkbox (it's not). var defaultPrivacyValue = firstMenuItemKey; $('input[name=privacy]:checked').each(function() { defaultPrivacyValue = $(this).next().find('.name').text(); }); selectMenuItem(defaultPrivacyValue); When I chaged the selector to 'input[name=privacy][checked=checked]' it worked as expected. • (static initialization order?!) problems with factory pattern

  Why does following code raise an exception (in createObjects call to map::at) alternativly the code (and its output) can be viewed here intererestingly the code works as expected if the commented lines are uncommented with both microsoft and gcc compiler (see here), this even works with initMap as ordinary static variable instead of static getter. The only reason for this i can think of is that the order of initialization of the static registerHelper_ object (factory_helper_)and the std::map object (initMap) are wrong, however i cant see how that could happen, because the map object is constructed on first usage and thats in factory_helper_ constructor, so everything should be alright shouldnt it ? I am even more suprised that those doNothing() lines fix the issue, because that call to doNothing() would happen after the critical section (which currently fails) is passed anyway. • XSLT generating attributes if source-Element is in parameterfile

I want to add these other elements from parm-file as parameter to output file if element-names are matching. I read a lot of the help files which basically explains how the system works and explains Copy-Modify-Merge. • Execute less compiler anywhere on the computer

  I'm having a little problem with executing *.cmd files so I can execute them anywhere on the computer with cmd. What I exactly want is to execute the less.cmd file, which support optional arguments and uses lessc.wsf (Less.js compiler for Windows Script Host) for converting less css to pure css. The less.cmd contains: ::For convenience @cscript //nologo "%~dp0lessc.wsf" %* What I've done so far: added absolute path to lessc.cmd to the PATH system variable and moved .cmd in the PATHTEXT system variable to the beginning. Also did this: From a command prompt; assoc .bat should return with ..bat=batfile If not assoc .bat=batfile to restore the default file type association. ftype batfile should return with batfile="%1" %* If not ftype batfile="%1" %* to restore the default "Open" action for the file type. This still doesn't work unless I approach the cmd file with a absolute path in cmd, if I enter lessc anywhere else then I get C:\Intel Intel is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. , I've restarted my computer more than once to be sure changes will take effect. I hope somebody has the answer.

• Visual Studio 2008 Web Project problem with PNG files

  I've added a PNG file to a directory in my VS2k8 webforms project, and when I run the app, it refuses to render my image - it even knows the dimensions but renders a box with a red X. Oddly enough, if I double click the PNG file within VS2k8, it opens up in the IDE and displays fine (but only within the IDE). Does anyone have any clues? The path is correct.. I just have a basic default.aspx page with this in the body <img src="img/logo.png" /> if i navigate to img/logo.png in the browser, it shows a box with the same dimensions as my image, but a red x. Its finding the image, just not rendering it. It's showing up in IE running under the vs2k8 web server (localhost:5512/default.aspx) I've dropped a JPG in the same directory, and it shows up just fine. I'm not sure what type of PNG it is, but here is the kicker.... If i make an HTML file that references that image, copy both this HTML file and PNG file to my webserver (or just double click on the HTML page), it comes up JUST FINE. Its leading me to believe that the Visual Studio web server may not recognize PNG files (at least this one) properly?

  Hi, I'm using custom healthmonitoring events in ASP.NET We recently moved to a new server with default High Trust Permissions. Literature says that healthmonitoring and custom events should work under Medium or higher trust (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb398933.aspx). Problem is it doesn't. In less than high trust I get a SecurityException saying The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy It works in Full trust or when I remove the inheritance of System.Web.Management.WebErrorEvent. Any suggestions anyone? • What is the best way to produce a tilde in LaTeX for a website?

  Following the previous questions on this topic, when you produce a website in LaTeX what is the best way to produce a url that contains a tilde? \verb produces the upper tilde that does not read well, and $\sim$ does not copy/pase well (adding a space when I do it). Solutions? It seems like this should be one of those things that has a very easy fix... if it doesn't, why not?

• Unable to run native C++ application on different machine

  Hi, I wrote a simple 'Hello, world' application in C++ using Visual Studio 2008. I am able to run the app successfully on my local machine. BUt when I copy the exe onto another machine and run, it does not run. It gives the error that 'Application has failed to start because application configuration is incorrect'.   Hello, I am writing a simple console application which will allow me to create a number of threads from a set of parameters passed through the arguments I provide. DWORD WINAPI ThreadFunc(LPVOID threadData) { } I am packing them into a struct and passing them as a parameter into the CreateThread method and trying to unpack them by casting them to the same type as my struct from the LPVOID. I'm not sure how to cast it to the struct after getting it through so I can use it in the method itself, i've tried various combinations (Example attatched) but it won't compile. • .NET 4.0 Forms Authentication change?

  I'm seeing some new behavior in Forms Authentication after upgrading to .NET 4.0. This occurs only on IIS 6, not on 7. Background - In web.config, we configure Forms Authentication, and then use <authorization tags to globally deny anonymous/unauthenticated users access. Then we explicitly allow access to a login.aspx page using a <location tag. Generally, this works fine, as it did when we were on .NET 2.0 (3.5). The issue only occurs when we visit the root path of the site, ie "http://myserver/". Our default document is configured in IIS to be login.aspx. Under .NET 4.0, upon visiting that URL, we're redirected to "http://myserver/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/". If you log in from here, you're logged in and returned back at the log in page (yuck). Just wanted to post this here to see if anyone else is experiencing this. It's not listed on any "breaking changes" documentation I've been able to find. Either I'm missing something, or the UrlAuthorization module has changed and is no longer "smart" about IIS default documents.

  Ive set up deployment in hudson. SVN Build copy to production. I need to set up a schedule build to test for build error which is running every hour or so. What i dont want is the schedules builds to deploy to production. Is it posible to detect, in nant, if the current build is a scheduled build or a manually started build. Or should i create a seperate project for the schedule build?
