  I'm trying to clone a local git repository. The repository's name contains a `:'. This is confusing both me and git. I get the following error: ~/work/c% git clone ../a::b . Initialized empty Git repository in /home/user/work/c/.git/ ssh: Could not resolve hostname ../a: Name or service not known fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly How would you escape the `:'? For now I'm just changing the name of the original repository :-) I'm using zshell...

• InternetCheckConnection in VB6 returning false

  Hi all, Not a VB6 expert... Trying to come up with a VB6 test app that calls InternetCheckConnection. In my test app, InternetCheckConnection always returns false regardless of the URL I use. I copied and pasted this code from a larger spaghetti-code app, but in the spaghetti-code, InternetCheckConnection seems to work fine, returns true. Is there some other function I have to call first in order for InternetCheckConnection to work?

  Hi! all, I am writing an application for video streaming.In the application server is required to know the distance of the client from it self in terms of hop number.My question is,is there any tool/method other than traceroute available in unix environment to find it?   I have a 3rd-party servlet that I cannot modify. It accepts an init-param that I would like to externalize (from web.xml). I can externalize a servlet filter init-param using DelegatingFilterProxy. This effectively moves the servlet filter definition into Spring where there are much more powerful externalization tools (eg: PropertyPlaceholderConfigurer, environment variables, etc.) How can I do this for a servlet?

  before answer me plz thinking about the futures of these kind of program and answer me plz. I wanna get some data from oracle server like: 1-get all the function,package,procedure and etc for showing them or drop them & etc... 2-compile my *.sql files,get the result if they have problem & etc... becuz I was beginner in oracle first of all I for solve the second problem I try to connect to sqlPlus by RUN sqlplus and trace the output(I mean,I change the output stream of shell and trace what happend and handle the assigned message to customer. NOW THIS PART SUCCEED. just a little bit I have problem with get all result because the output is asynchronous.any way... [in this case I log in to oracle Server by send argument to the sqlplus by make a process in c#] after that I try to get all function,package or procedure name,but I have problem in speed!so I try to use oracle.DataAccess.dll to connect the database. now I m so confusing about: which way is correct way to build a program that work like Oracle Developer! I do not have any experience for like these program how work. If Your answer is I must use the second way follow this part plz: I search a little bit the Golden,PLedit (Benthic software),I have little bit problem how I must create the connection string?because I thinking about how I can find the host name or port number that oracle work on them?? am I need read the TNSNames.Ora file? IF your answer is I must use the first way follow this part plz: do u have any Idea for how I parse the output?because for example the result of a table is so confusing...[i can handle & program it but I really need someone experience,because the important things to me learn how such software work so nice and with quick response?] All of the has different style in output... • PHP Netbeans 6.8 subversion integration (Windows 7)

  I am using Netbeans 6.8 for PHP (under Windows 7) and the subversion integration doesn't work. I am able to checkout a module but I don't see the subversion features in the menus or the outine in the editor left margin that shows the changes in the files. I am using it under Ubuntu with no problems. Did any of you experimented the same problem? If yes, were you able to make it work? Thanks!

  Just looking on resources that break down how frames per second work. I know it has something to do with keeping track of Ticks and figure out how many ticks occured between each frame. But I never ran into any resources on why exactly you have to use the methods you use in order to get a smooth frame work. I am trying to get a thourough understanding of this. • Regular Expression to match text outside quotes etc...

  "([\"'])(?:\\\\?+.)*?\\1" I came up to this regexp to match all quoted strings.. It seems to work great... The problem is how to match the text that isnt inside quotes.. The inverse -negative somehow... I read the documentation and (?!(([\"'])(?:\\\\?+.)*?\\1)) doesnt work

  Hi, I just wrote a little application(4 page php), everything work fine, however, I have a question that, do I need to create a new instance of facebook (just like $facebook = new facebook.....) in every new php page, or just pass a access token or session? If only pass the access token, how can I use the function $faceook-api('something'); to acheive the data?   My question is easily summarized as: "Why does the following not work?" teststruct = struct('a',3,'b',5,'c',9) fields = fieldnames(teststruct) for i=1:numel(fns) fns(i) teststruct.(fns(i)) end output: ans = 'a' ??? Argument to dynamic structure reference must evaluate to a valid field name. Especially since teststruct.('a') does work. And fns(i) prints out ans = 'a'. I can't get my head around it.

  Are there any search tools that allow you to set up a simple token/grammar parsing system that work similar to regular expressions? What we want to do is search our ColdFusion code for queries that do not have cfqueryparams in them. A regular expression gets a bit tough in this situation because I can't keep track of the start tags while looking for something else before getting an end tag. It seems like a parsing system would work more accurately.
