• Tracking based on URL referral?

  Hi, Users on my site are given unique URL's for me to then track how many people they have referred to my site. ie: http://www.example.com/FQ3DL (FQ3DL being the unique code/url) The first thing I'd like to do is when a user goes to that link, it displays the homepage http://www.example.com/ rather than a 404 error The second thing is, how would I track how many people have visited that URL? Only through Google analytics or is there another way to manage it? Thanks!

I can see cookies issued on a per-page basis with Chrome or Firefox console, but given the amount of pages I need a tool to automate the process. I tried to google for website cookie scanner but my search was unfruitful and found: either online tools which only scan the home page paid services (ex1, ex2) Does any of you know about a tool to scan an entire website and generate a report showing which cookies are being used and which page set them?

Here are some statistics about the websites : Unique Visits January 2012 Website A : 158,828 Website B : 58,867 Number of Search Results google Website A : 5,100 Website B : 56,000 Links to my site Website A : 3,120 Website B : 2,180 ALEXA Score Website A : 405,804 Website B : 278,944 How does it come that website B with 1/3 of the visitors of website A have a much better Alexa Score ( x2 ) then website A?

  I have ubuntu(8.10) ldap server running. I am migrating from my old servers to ubuntu 10.04.2 server and I have set up almost all freshly on the new servers. How could I perfectly migrate ldap to the new server after installing ldap?. I found the following to export and import ldap in the google: slapcat -l master.ldif slapadd -c -l master.ldif Is there anything I've to do before/after using those commands?. Any precautions?

• Graphics driver being reported as Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 0x300) instead of intel

  I have an integrated Intel 945GM in a Toshiba laptop. Previously the graphics driver was reported correctly, but at some point it has changed. I've noticed general poor performance and though it should meet minimum requirements for unity 3d is using unity 2d. Under the details panel in system settings it is now reporting Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 0x300). any help would be appreciated. I have searched google for hours trying to find an answer.

  Ubuntu 14.04 Server edition only displays "nameserver 127.0.0.1" in "/etc/resolv.conf" on each reboot if the dns-nameservers in "/etc/network/interfaces" contains 127.0.0.1 and some other DNS such as Google Public DNS. On /etc/network/interfaces I set as follows: dns-nameservers 127.0.0.1 8.8.8.8 But after a reboot, /etc/resolv.conf gives me this: nameserver 127.0.0.1 Shouldn't the "nameserver 8.8.8.8" listed in the /etc/resolv.conf too?   Google's PageSpeed plugin suggests that a website should include Last-Modified and ETag headers: Specify a cache validator "Resources that do not specify a cache validator cannot be refreshed efficiently. Specify a Last-Modified or ETag header to enable cache validation" However, Apache suggests that by not including them at all, we speed up websites by eliminating If-Modified-Since and If-None-Match requests: http://www.askapache.com/htaccess/apache-speed-last-modified.html these are in direct opposition - which should be implemented? I'm leaning towards Apache's suggestion, as when I want a file cached, I don't want it refreshed.

  I've seen this grid favicon show up on a lot of sites, most of which tend to be for scams like oxytocin accelerator, or make $300 a day posting links to Google type sites. My question is: what is this icon and where does it come from? Is there some organization whose goal is to make terrible websites like this and they associate them with this icon or does it belong to some server software that for some reason scammy sites like to use? Does anybody know the origins of this icon?
