• C# Saving an arraylist to a file?

  I have a simple program where I would like to save an arraylist to a file, so that when the program is restarted, it loads from the file to the arraylist in memory. Is this possible in C#? Or do I need to itterate over the arraylist countaining my custom classes and in someway print them out? Any tips on a correct way to do this?

  I'm not sure where to look to find this information, but I'd like to know how to get mouse input (or any hid input) using the fewest non standard libraries in c. Basically, is there an stdio equivalent for mouse (and other input) input in c? Or is there a library that is minimal and cross compatible on multiple platforms. Just being able to print mouse coordinates to a terminal window would be enough.

• How can I serve up color-coded Java code using PHP?

  I'd like to embed code from my SVN repository into my website, using PHP. The SVN has public anonymous access, so the PHP code should be fine reading it. The code on said SVN is java, and so far I've had no luck finding a syntax-highlighter to make the code more readable. Ideally I'd like one that uses CSS classes so that I can change the colors to match the look of the website. Could someone point me to a PHP library that highlights Java code?

  I have a file in a folder like this: installer-x86_64-XXX.XX-diagnostic.run The XXX.XX is a version number and I need the version number only. How to do it in linux? I have this code: #!/bin/bash current_ver=$(find /mnt/builds/current -name '*.run'|awk -F/ '{print $NF}') So this gives me just the name of the file correctly (minus the location, which I dont want). But how do I only get the XXX.XX version number into a variable such as $version

I tried a decorator function but if I define it in main I can't call it from other functions in the script. • jQuery doesn't work in <head>?!

  This code is supposed to make a slideshow out of stacked list-elements (I commented out the CSS so I can see what's going on) by fading out the topmost elements until only the first one is visible, then fade in the topmost element and the rest and start anew. If I put the script below my content inside the <body> and throw out the $(function() { it works perfectly fine, but in the <head> nothing happens.   Since input and raw_input() stop the program from running anymore, I want to use a subprocess to run this program... while True: print raw_input() and get its output.
