  • create jrxml file at run time and modify at run time

    Hi I have a requirement to develop custom reports where we already have some reoprts developed using JasperReports using iReport tool. Now the requirement is to modify those reports design at run time. I should use those existing jrxml files and save as to new report then change the design at run time. Also I should see those newly created reports whenever I want. I have gone through the Jasper API and Dynamic Reports where we can create the reports dynamically at run time but we can't save the design (like JRXML). I am looking for any other JRXML design API to create and modify and save the Jasper Reports at run time. I appreciate if any one can help me. Thanks in Advance Srinivas

I think the upper program has worse time complexity than the lower, but I'm having problems calculating the time complexity of these two algorithms.   • Why isn't the reference counter in boost::shared_ptr volatile?

    In the boost::shared_ptr destructor, this is done: if(--*pn == 0) { boost::checked_delete(px); delete pn; } where pn is a pointer to the reference counter, which is typedefed as shared_ptr::count_type -> detail::atomic_count -> long I would have expected the long to be volatile long, given threaded usage and the non-atomic 0-check-and-deletion in the shared_ptr destructor above. Why isn't it volatile?

    What I mean is, let's say you do an async_wait on an asio timer and bind the update to a function that takes a reference to a type T. Let's say you created the T initially on the stack before passing it to async_wait. At the end of that async_wait, it calls async_wait itself, renewing the timer over and over. Does that stack allocated type T stay alive until the first time the timer doesn't renew itself, or after the first invocation of the function will the T go out of scope?

This seems really like an obvious way to do LaTeX authoring but it doesn't look like any software is able to do it. LyX is not what I'm looking for.     If I have a date, how do I calculate the week number for that date within that year? For example, in 2008, January 1st to January 6th are in week 1 and January 7th to the 13th are in week 2, so if my date was January 10th 2008, my week number would be 2. So literally I want to know the length of time between the 2 values. 14:10:20 - 10:05:15 = 02:05:05 So the result would be 02:05:05.
