  I am using three buttons along with the list view.These three buttons are added to the layout using the TableLayout and TableRow.The first button takes more space on content, so the other two becomes smaller in size than first one.   Hello, i want to print on the screen the informations about Top level windows under Linux. I use the xlib functions. I successfully recurse from the root window to print all the informations about all the element on display. But i need only the Top-Level window. I don't find any good way to filter. From wikipedia : The top-level windows are exactly the direct subwindows of the root window. With that definition , I have some windows like: gnome-session, seahorse-daemon,notify-osd or icons, on my list and i don't want them. • Location of New Window after old window closed

  I have an app that allows multiple windows. I have a strange bug where, if I repeatedly open and close windows, new windows are positioned lower and lower on the screen. I would expect this if I were keeping the windows open, but it seems that the OS X window tiling mechanism is unaware of when my windows are closing. Potentially relevant notes: I am using garbage collection. This is not a document-based app. When I close a window, the corresponding menu item is removed from the "Window" menu. Any hints as to what I might be doing wrong would be appreciated. Thanks!

On render it is set as the current month in the title, but I cant find a way to use that info. I want to sent the month to my ajax call together with other params (start, end, _) but I dont know how please help me out with this. inside the fullcalendar definition, how to retrieve the month currently displayed. • Win32 Window Menu is appearing along left side instead of across top of window

  I think I may be using a wrong window style or something or maybe just adding the menu to the window incorrectly.   I want to make a thick-client, desktop, open source twitter client. I happen to be using .NET as my language and Twitterizer as my OAuth/Twitter wrapper, and my app will likely be released as open source. To get an OAuth token, four pieces of information are required: Access Token (twitter user name) Access Secret (twitter password) Consumer Key Consumer Secret The second two pieces of information are not to be shared, like a PGP private key. However, due to the way the OAuth authorization flow is designed, these need to be on the native app. Even if the application was not open source, and the consumer key/secret were encrypted, a reasonably skilled user could gain access to the consumer key/secret pair. So my question is, how do I get around this problem? What is the proper strategy for a desktop Twitter client to protect its consumer key and secret?

  I want to make my project open source but some of its more advanced features are targeted to companies so I would like to require a donation before I send the source code to the donating company. It will be something like that: "If you want to use the extended features of XXXXXXX, please make a donation of $499 and you will receive the source code and the jar with the extended features. You will also receive personalized support by email." Is it legal and acceptable to do something like that? Can the companies donate an amount like that to an open source project? I mean, is it easy for them in terms of their accounting, tax, etc. to donate $499 dollars to an open source project. I know it is not a matter whether they will have money or not but more of a paying procedure matter.

• Dojo and Separate JavaScript File

  For a project I needed to use the ArcGIS API for some mapping. To use this you need to use Dojo but in this case all it really comes down to is adding some require lines and a addOnLoad on your web page. At first everything was working great, the maps rendered and the various layers would populate as needed. Once it was working I started moving the various javascript functions into their own files to keep everything nice and neat. Then the problems started, mainly the map would not show up any more. So that was a pretty big problem. Luckily the fix was pretty simple, just move the dojo.addOnLoad line into it’s own script tag. If I had the dojo.addOnLoad in the same script block as the various require lines it would not work as expected. The project team members need to spend extra time answering those repeated issues. Some projects do have a public issue tracker, but the issues are still reported through email and they are posted only by the project team only after filtering. It does not allow anyone to report directly in issue tracker. (example: SVN) Such arrangement is not transparent nor open, which I think it violates the philosophy of open source. And it is outdated.

  There's an open-source project that I'm interested in and use regularly. It's licensed under the Apache License 2.0 and it has basically no activity any more. It's hosted on Google Code and I'm interested in continuing it's development. I'm new to the open-source process and I'm trying to figure out the appropriate way to go about this. Can I just check it out and push it to github so I can continue it's development in the open there? Should I contact the project "owner" first? Also, do I leave all the author information at the top of the classes, etc even though I'm going to be making changes..(I'm assuming the answer is yes)? Also, how do I practically adhere to the license requirement of "all modifications are clearly marked as being the work of the modifier"? Do I place a comment by every change I make?

  I am working on a Windows desktop app (C++) that has an embedded Internet Explorer page. I'm working on the html page that is displayed in the There is not a back button control, so one of the requests is that links clicked on in the page should open the link in a browser window. It can open the link in the users default browser or in IE. Is this possible? I realize that this is not possible because javascript is in a sandbox and cannot touch outside applications. I'm thinking there might be a way because it is using the IE. I have tried the two methods that have worked for me in the past. Using jquery, I've tried these two approaches, but neither work in the app. They both work fine in normal browsers.   Hi I am trying to create simple application that would be able to search people on facebook using given e-mail. I am already able to log into an account using the HTMLunit tool and even create a page, which should throw result of my search. But when I try to print the result as XML the file is missing some blocks of javascript results (I can tell that they are missing by comparing file created by my application and source code, that can be viewed by using IE) Is there any way around this? • Properly registering JavaScript and CSS in MVC 2 Editor Templates

  How do I properly register javascript blocks in an ASP.NET MVC 2 (RTM) Editor template? The specific scenario I'm in is that I want to use Dynarch JSCal2 DateTimePicker for my standard datetime picker, but this question is in general to any reusable javascript package. I have my template working properly now but it has my JS and CSS includes in my master page and I would rather only include these things if I actually need them: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../Content/JSCal2-1.7/jscal2.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../Content/JSCal2-1.7/border-radius.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="../../Scripts/JSCal2-1.7/jscal2.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="../../Scripts/JSCal2-1.7/lang/en.js"></script> So obviously I could just put these lines into my template, but then if I have a screen that has 5 DateTimePickers, then this content would be duplicated 5 times which wouldn't be ideal. Anyways, I still want my View's Template to trigger this code being put into the <head> of my page.
