    Hi. I'm getting an exception from SQL Data Reader (MS SQL as datastore) and I'd like to know which column name causes this Exception to be thrown. But I cannot find it in the InnerException.. nowhere. ((System.InvalidOperationException)ex.InnerException).StackTrace: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlDataReader.ReadColumnHeader(Int32 i) System.Data.SqlClient.SqlDataReader.IsDBNull(Int32 i) ... Where is it hidden please ?

  • Pattern for creating a database schema using JDBC

    I have a Java-application that loads data from a legacy file format into an SQLite-Database using JDBC. If the database file specified does not exist, it is supposed to create a new one. Currently the schema for the database is hardcoded in the application. I would much rather have it in a separate file as an SQL-Script, but apparently there is now easy way to execute an SQL-Script though JDBC. Is there any other way or a pattern to achieve something like this?

I have written a Visual Studio extension that has an IOperationContractGenerationExtension implementation, but this interface only seems to expose the ability to modify the service interface, not the ClientBase-derived class. Is there any way to generate new methods in the proxy client class?

This way I can exclude these rel="player" links from another jQuery script I use, because I don't want it to take the rel="player" elements into account.     I have a custom Dialog that contains only a TextView to display some text in my application. The documentation lists that only the b, i, u, tt, big, small, sup, sub, and strike tags are supported. I really need to add some newlines for readability. Do I need to change to a more complicated layout, or is there some way to encode newlines in the resource? I tried adding br tags, but that did not help.

    I have a 24 hour time string (ie 16:30) and would like to add x time blocks of 30 mins. For example if x = 4, then 16:30 + 4(30) = 18:30. Is there any easy way to do this with out exploding the string and doing if statements for mins/hours.. etc? Also this is on a php page would it be easier to do this in php then echo it to the javascript? Thanks for the help!

I wish to add those 2 spaces to 3's end and 7's end to make it like this: "123 567 890" I was trying to achieve the following steps: parse the string into words by words list (array of strings). From upstream function I will get values of variables word_count, *line and remain. concatenate them with a space at the end. add space distributively, with left to right priority, so when a fair division cannot be done, the second to last word's end will have (no. of spaces) spaces, the previous ones will get (spaces + 1) spaces. concatenate everything together to make it a new *line.     I have a consumer thread taking elements from a LinkedBlockingQueue, and I make it sleep manually when it's empty. I use peek() to see if the queue empty because I have to do stuff because sending the thread to sleep, and I do that with queue.wait(). So, when I'm in another thread and add()an element to the queue, does that automatically notify the thread that was wait()ing on the queue?
