• Temporary table resource limit

  Hi, i have two applications (server and client), that uses TQuery connected with TClientDataSet through TDCOMConnection, and in some cases clientdataset opens about 300000 records and than application throws exception "Temporary table resource limit". Is there any workaround how to fix this? (except "do not open such huge dataset"?) update: oops i'm sorry there is 300K records, not 3 millions..

  I have a client which makes a limited number of concurrent web requests. I use WebClient for this purpose. I currently have a pool of WebClient-s which I create once and use whichever one is idle. This approach is becoming a little cumbersome though, and I'm wondering if there is any benefit to having a collection of pre-constructed WebClient instances, or if creating them on the fly wouldn't be too much trouble?

  i need to fetch a url with javascript/jquery and not php. i've read that you could do that if you got a php proxy, but that means that it is still going through php. cause then it's still the ip of the server that is fetching it. could one fetch the url entirely with only front-end, and thus fetch it with the client's ip?

  Hey I am having some issues while using Nggalley plugin for wordpress the plugin makes use of a JW player and JW player needs an XML - so it requests link like this http://nextgen-gallery.com/index.php?callback=imagerotator&gid=1&149 The lay &xxx really creaps me out couse I am using it for joomla and joomla doesn't like this I am assuming that this has to do with wordpress but still unsure. what does this ending of URL really mean?   Hey all, I have a CustomValidator, RequiredFieldValidator and ValidationSummary controls on an aspx page to check the current password and make sure the new password is not blank. When I click submit I get the js alert() box from the summary control telling me about just the RequiredFieldValidator being false, but the client script for the CustomValidator does not seem to get its return value used. I have checked the "arguments.IsValid" value using FireBug, so it is getting called and returning the correct bool, but it never shows up in the val summary box? Thanks, Goosey

I am bit confused on how to keep track of selected item(of that collection) and pass that to client. Any ideas?   This is crazy, I have been trying for hours to get this to work. My client wants to be able to reset password for uses who have forgotten them The only parameter he has is the UserName. He does NOT want the user to be able to reset the password themselves, no that would be too easy...ARGHHHHH!! Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions how I could reset someones password or give them a new temp password somehow, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Steve
