• Python editor with automatic code completion?

  I have seen various articles about good Python editors/IDEs, like this. However, none of them points out whether the editors support automatic code completion. I tried notepad++, PyScript and Komodo Edit, but all of these requires a hotkey to invoke the code completion dialog. Do you know any Python editors with automatic code completion?

  I am trying to install npiet (http://www.bertnase.de/npiet/). It requires libgd and libpng. I have installed both of these with macports, but when I run the configure script included with npiet, it says that it can't find them. It also doesn't recognize --with-png=/opt/local/bin.

• jsfunit with junit 4

  Hi, We would like to test our web application (jsf 1.2, richfaces 3.3.3) with jsfunit. We are using junit 4.8.1 library for our unit tests. But jsfunit (1.2.0.Final) requires non existing class junit.runner.TestSuiteLoader. If i downgrade to junit 3.8, i can't use annotations any my Test classes any more. Is there a solution for it?   I am attempting to have mechanize select a form from a page, but the form in question has no "name" attribute in the html. What should I do? when I try to use br.select_form(name = "") i get errors that no form is declared with that name, and the function requires a name input. There is only one form on the page, is there some other way I can select that form?

  If you open a dialog in Swing, for example a JFileChooser, it goes somewhat like this pseudocode: swing event thread { create dialog add listener to dialog close event { returnValue = somethingFromDialog } show dialog (wait until it is closed) return returnValue } My question is: how can this possibly work? As you can see the thread waits to return until the dialog is closed. This means the Swing event thread is blocked. Yet, one can interact with the dialog, which AFAIK requires this thread to run. So how does that work?

When I want to create a new user, it requires me to set the (wrong-named, confusing field) login (= username), email address and password. However, I want, like Facebook does, to require the user to enter only an email address and password, not a username. People will also login with this email address. Can anyone help me?
