    - by tenbatsu
Really fundamental question here, but nothing a quick google search is lending itself to. Do I need to generate a separate private key for each cert I use in apache? • Can emacs generate a table of comments and number sections of a document?

    - by mp3foley
I'm writing a plain text document with numbered sections or chapters and am wondering if emacs can help with numbering and re-numbering sections. And of course would be great if it could then generate a table of contents as well. I have had a search on google and looked through the emacs wiki but did not come up with anything other than for latex stuff and possibly muse mode, but I would like to keep this as a plain text README style document. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

  • SQLite FTS3 sumulate LIKE somestrin%

    - by alex
I'm writing a dictionary app and need to do the usual word suggesting while typing. LIKE somestrin% is rather slow (~1300ms on a ~100k row table) so I've turned to FTS3. Problem is, I haven't found a sane way to search from the beginning of a string. Now I'm performing a query like SELECT word, offsets(entries) FROM entries WHERE word MATCH '"chicken *"'; , then parse the offsets string in code. Are there any better options?

  • @"%@ in Objective C?

    - by doo
I was following a tut and found a line of code like @"%@ button pressed.". I'm pretty sure the relevant part is the %@, but is the first @ an escape sequence or what? Anyways, searching symbols doesn't go well in any search engine so I thought I'd ask. I think the %@ is like {0} in C#?
