    I pull categories of one section from an XML. Problem is, pulled categories need to recognize tab plugin so I tried to add tab plugin to CategoryName variable. But it is not working. I get the following error.     I'm trying to change the links in an iframe to load in a new window instead of the iframe itself. I know this code would work if it's triggered in the body onload attribute, but I'd like to avoid that method and implement it in a function or a file instead.

  • Javascript to add cdata section on the fly?

    I'm having trouble with special characters that exist in an xml node attribute. To combat this, I'm trying to render the attributes as child nodes and, where necessary, using cdata sections to get around the special characters. The problem is, I can't seem to get the cdata section appended to the node correctly. I'm iterating over the source xml node's attributes and creating new nodes. If the attribute.name = "description" I want to put the attribute.text() in a cdata section and append the new node.   • How to make technical training session useful and successful for trainee?

    Are these suggestions good to give for a successful training session? Practice time should be always given immediate after technical training? usually after receiving any technical session about any new thing we do routine work. If we don't do practice just after training, later when we do any work related to that training then we feel we need training again. So if we are getting training today and will not use it for some period of time (15 -30 -60 days) then the training is of no use, as it is at the wrong time. I.e. We will forget many things Any other suggestions which i should give? I'm trainee not trainer. What suggestion should i give to trainer/organizer?

So I would do this var cells = $('#tbl :checked').parents('tr').children('td'); So lets assume only one checkbox can be checked(so no jqueyr foreach loop). So now say I wanted to get the 2nd table cells value I would just go var secondCell = $(cells[1]).html(); The thing with this though it makes the code so brittle.     Hello everyone, I have a web service that I invoke from script but that does not need any information stored in cookies. Anytime I make a request to the service, the cookie is sent along with it. I understand that by default cookies are sent with HTTP request, but is there any way at all to overwrite that behavior and not send the cookie?     I have been having trouble getting IE to recognize the new Time tag in this context. This all works great in FF. I assume the beginning and ending. However, I cannot access it to modify it. I have tried val(), html() and text(). I also can't drop to the actual HTMLElement. I can't get(0).innerHTML. But, if I .get(0).tagName it actually is the Time tag I've got. Any ideas? I hope this makes sense.

  • JQueryMobile 1.1.1 List items not anchoring to the left

    I'm trying to create a simple thumbnail list, the code is pretty much copied off jqm docs pages. However, when I use the code below the button element of the list isn't anchored to the left of the list item and instead appears centered...Can anyone help me? It's driving me crazy!   • jqGrid: Is it possible to commit a cell change when tabbing off instead of pressing Enter?

    I have a simple in-line edit in my grid, and I want to commit the change when the user tabs off the textbox. The default behavior of jqGrid forces the user to press 'Enter' to commit the change, but this is non-intuitive for our users. onSelectRow: function(id) { $(gridCoreGroups).editRow(id, true, undefined, function(response) { alert("hello world"); } } I've worked my way through the events provided, but they all happen as a result of the user pressing 'Enter', which I want to avoid. Is there something I can wire up that would trigger an action when the user tabs off this cell?

  • Prevent form to repost on refresh

    Given is a form that is followed by a confirmation page where you have to confirm you entered data of previous form. Now if the user refreshes this recapitulation page, the data form the previous form reposts. Is there a way to prevent that in JavaScript? I know its not a ideal solution, it should happen on the server side. But i have no choice in this case.
