  • Seeding repository Rhino Mocks

    I am embarking upon my first journey of test driven development in C#. To get started I'm using MSTest and Rhino.Mocks. I am attempting to write my first unit tests against my ICustomerRepository. It seems tedious to new up a Customer for each test method. In ruby-on-rails I'd create a seed file and load the customer for each test. It seems logical that I could put this boiler plate Customer into a property of the test class but then I would run the risk of it being modified. What are my options for simplifying this code?     Hi, I am accessing RepeatForUnit to manage "Repeats" in Lotus Notes. String RepeatForUnit = (string)((object[])docCalendarDoc.GetItemValue("RepeatForUnit"))[0]; Initially i was getting "D" for Daily event, "W" for Weekly and "Y" for Yearly. But now properties field not showing any of this value even after adding Repeat in calender.It is not visible in Properties list of Lotus Notes Calender and showing "" (black entry) for above code. I am not getting why this is happening.Can anybody help me out in this?

  • Using the Callback Method on a View in ASP.NET MVC

    I have a master page with that code: public string CallbackMethod; protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { CallbackMethod = Page.ClientScript.GetCallbackEventReference(this, "message", "Dodanie", "context", true); } /other code here/ then, in the View (which is based on that master page) I need to invoke the CallbackMethod string, but the problem is, the framework firstly renders the View, and then invokes the Page_Load method. As the obvious result, the error appears: the name 'CallbackMethod' does not exist in the current context. How do I fix this?

    This is a followup to my previous question, which got solved (thank you for that) but now I am stuck at another error.     I'm trying to use a Spring context namespace to build some existing configuration objects in an application. I have defined a context and pretty much have if working satisfactorily - however, I'd like one bean defined by my namespace to implicitly reference another: Consider the class named 'Node': public Class Node { private String aField; private Node nextNode; public Node(String aField, Node nextNode) { ... } Now in my Spring context I have something like so: <myns:container> <myns:node aField="nodeOne"/> <myns:node aField="nodeTwo"/> </myns:container> Now I'd like nodeOne.getNode() == nodeTwo to be true. So that nodeOne.getNode() and nodeTwo refer to the same bean instance. Furthermore, the nextNode property is populated with a Node instance with the previous nodes configuration - however, it isn't the same instance. If I output a log message in Node's constructor I see two instances created for each node bean definition. I can think of a few workarounds myself but I'm keen to use the existing model. So can anyone tell me how I can pass these runtime bean references so that I get the correct singleton behaviour for my Node instances?

    I am using word 2007 and am inserting code into the document. I have a style with a fixed-width font and light grey background and all, and I use Notepad++ for syntax highlighting. For example, I have a text field in which i need to make a string replace before it get saved (in the admin panel, for both insert and update operations) and make another, different replace each time it is read.   • Passing JSP parameter to javascript won't work in IE8!

    Could really use with some help here... I've got a servlet that generates an XML string (relatively long) which I then pass to a javascript variable in a forwarded jsp file: $(document).ready(function() { ... var itXML = <% out.print((String)request.getAttribute("xml"));% ; ... } This seems to work just fine in Firefox but when I run the same project on IE8 I get a syntax error for this line. Any Ideas? Thanks!
