So, obviously more data is stored somewhere else. So basically, I want to know, which tables are affected when you create a new node?

    In this query: SELECT WTTEMPLATE.TEMPLATEuID, MAX (WTTRX.VALUEDATE) AS template_last_use_date FROM wttemplate, wttrx WHERE WTTEMPLATE.TEMPLATEID = WTTRX.TEMPLATEID(+) AND WTTEMPLATE.CUSTID = WTTRX.CUSTID GROUP BY WTTEMPLATE.TEMPLATEuID The explain plan shows:index fast full scan using indexes on WTTEMPLATE.TEMPLATEID and (WTTRX.TEMPLATEID,WTTRX.CUSTID). My question is this: I have not specified any filter criteria , so how can it use indexes? It should do full scan...right?

  • Refresh the Parent form of "Call_form" after Child form is closed in Oracle 10g

    What I need is: what trigger to use and where to put it. I will give you an example of what I am doing. I have a Contract form that is fully editable except the contract financial areas, which is read only. I want the user to press a button called, “change rates” and that will have a trigger “When-Button-Pressed” and call_form(UpdateFinancials);. Now, in this screen, I have the user change the financial information such as increase the contract from 50k to 100k. Then the user saves and exits. This will then close the child form "UpdateFinancials" and show the parent form "ContractForm". The problem is, it still has all the old information on it. I need the information in the form to refresh when it gets back from the child form of the Call_Form function.

    Hi! all, I have written a simple udp server which has to transmit certain data to few of it's clients. but though server is successfully executing send,but unable to transmit even a single byte.The return value of send is 0 although I have enough data to be transmitted.you can see the code for the said server here: http://pastebin.com/zeMcwd6X Can you people help in finding the possible culprit for the same.Any reply in this regard will be appreciated.   • Oracle 10g multiple DELETE statements

    I'm building a dml file that first deletes records that may be in the table, then inserts records. Example: DELETE from foo where field1='bar'; DELETE from foo where fields1='bazz'; INSERT ALL INTO foo(field1, field2) values ('bar', 'x') INTO foo(field1, field2) values ('bazz', 'y') SELECT * from DUAL; When I run the insert statement by itself, it runs fine. When I run the deletes, only the last delete runs. Also, it seems to be necessary to end the multiple insert with the select, is that so? If so, why is that necessary? In the past, when using MySQL, I could just list multiple delete and insert statements, all individually ending with a semicolon, and it would run fine.

So, when I do res = PQexec(conn, "SELECT point FROM test_point3d"); I don't know how to convert the PGresult I got to my custom data type.
