  • Drupal: using lightbox to display complete nodes beside Views ?

    hi, I've a View page with all the content of my website (the node headers). When I click on one of these header I would like to load the complete node without refreshing the page and display it on the left. Which modules could I use for it ? I'm currently using a lightbox (moving the content beside it). I was wondering if this the only solution and if it is a good one thanks

  • jQuery each loop - using variables

    I have a list of products. Each product has a title and a review link. Currently the titles link directly to the individual product page, and the review links go elsewhere. I'd like to use a jquery each loop to cycle through each li, take the href from the title (the first link), and apply it to the review link (the second link), so they both point to the product page. Simplified code would be as follows: <ul> <li><a href="product1.html">Product 1</a><a href="review1.html">Review 1</a></li> <li><a href="product2.html">Product 2</a><a href="review2.html">Review 2</a></li> <li><a href="product3.html">Product 3</a><a href="review3.html">Review 3</a></li> </ul> I thought it would be something like the following: $("li").each(function(){ var link = $("a:eq(0)").attr('href'); $("a:eq(1)").attr("href", link); }); But it always uses the same variable "link".   • In Node.JS, how do I return an entire object from a separate .js file?

    Thanks for looking. I am new to Node.js and trying to figure out how to request an object from a separate file (rather than just requesting a function) but everything I try--exports,module-exports,etc--is failing. So, for example, if I have foo.js: var methods = { Foobar:{ getFoo: function(){return "foo!!";}, getBar: function(){return "bar!!";} } }; And now I want to call a function within an object of foo.js from index.js: var m = require('./Methods'); function fooMain(){ return m.Foobar.getFoo(); }; How do I do this? I have tried all sorts of combinations of exports and module-exports but they seem to only work if I call a discrete function that is not part of an object. Thanks!

  • drupal: so many js and css files ?

    hi, I've realized I'm loading a lot of resources (24 css and 17 js files) using Drupal. I've several modules installed and they all come with a css and js file. For my website I'm only using 1 additional js plugin (all the other 16 come with Drupal modules). I've not installed useless modules. They are all necessary, and they require js such as swfobject, ajax_views, jquery.media, spamspan, lightbox (modal, video and default js files), etc Same thing with css files: ckeditor, filefield, lightbox, tagadelic, uploadfield, fieldgroup, vews, taxonomy_super_select, html-element, tabs, messages... etc For my website, I only use my theme css zen.css of course. So.. is this normal ? Or I should remove all this stuff? Are drupal websites normally heavy ? thanks

    When i use this code <!--[if IE 6]> <link rel="stylesheet" href="ie6.css" type="text/css" /> <![endif]--> <!--[if !IE]> <link rel="stylesheet" href="not_ie.css" type="text/css" /> <![endif]--> IE 6 does correctly use the specified stylesheet but all other browsers ignore both when they should be using the one that basically states, use this stylesheet if you are not IE. Any ideas?

  • Google JavaScript CAPTCHA handling

    I am using Google API's to provide maps on a web page, however, Google frequently prompts for a CAPTCHA (I only know this from going into Firebug, users just get a JavaScript error) for requests for its javascript API's (e.g. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?file=api&v=2&key=xxxx). However, this prevents visitors from our network (a very large (UK wide) WAN) using Google Maps etc from using these sites with it on. This is likely due to the fact the IP is shared by many people, so Google sees it as spam. I don't see any way of contacting Google about this, so was wondering if there is any way of intercepting these failing JavaScript requests since they return a 403 status code? Perhaps by opening a new window, although that would not be user friendly (they will see the JavaScript after the CAPTCHA, so would be a cause of confusion and would need to refresh the page in question).

    I have an iPad app in which I'm setting the shadow color of a UILabel in a UIView's initWithFrame: method. When I use the following syntax: m_label.shadowColor = [UIColor colorWithWhite:1.0 alpha:0.5]; I get this compiler error: Expected identifier before '[' token However, when I use the following syntax: [m_label setShadowColor:[UIColor colorWithWhite:1.0 alpha:0.5]]; It compiles without complaint. Using property syntax for other properties of the UILabel is working fine (shadowOffset, autoresizingMask, backgroundColor, font, textColor, etc.).     hi All, I'm experimenting with codeigniter but don't really understand how links work. for example, I have a link like this: localhost/ci/welcome/cat/7 My base url is localhost/ci, so by clicking on this link I would expect the method "cat" of controller "welcome" to be called. This method is very simple: function cat() { echo "just a test."; } Pretty basic - I would expect to see the text on screen, but I just see a 404 -page not found error. What could be the problem?

  • ZF-Autoloader not working in UnitTests on Ubuntu

    i got a problem regarding Unit-testing a Zend-Framework application under Ubuntu 12.04. The project-structure is a default zend application whereas the models are defined as the following ./application ./models ./DbTable ./ProjectStatus.php (Application_Model_DbTable_ProjectStatus) ./Mappers ./ProjectStatus.php (Application_Model_Mapper_ProjectStatus) ./ProjectStatus.php (Application_Model_ProjectStatus) The Problem here is with the Zend-specific autoloading. The naming convention here appears that the folder Mappers loads all classes with _Mapper but not _Mappers. This is some internal Zend behavior which is fine so far. On my windows machine the phpunit runs without any Problems, trying to initiate all those classes. On my Ubuntu machine however with jenkins running on it, phpunit fails to find the appropriate classes giving me the following error Fatal error: Class 'Application_Model_Mapper_ProjectStatus' not found in /var/lib/jenkins/jobs/PAM/workspace/tests/application/models/Mapper/ProjectStatusTest.php on line 39 The error appears to really be that the Zend-Autoloader doesn't load from the ubuntu machine, but i can't figure out how or why this works. The question remains of why this is. I think i've double checked every point of contact with the zend autoloading stuff, but i just can't figure this out. I'll paste the - from my point of view relevant snippets - and hope someone of you has any insight to this.
