• In Sinatra - does anyone use test fixtures? how is your test suite set up?

  I'm coming from a Ruby/Rails world. I'm getting testing set up on a Sinatra project (with Rack::Test). I usually use Fixtures in testing. Is there an equivalent for Sinatra? How do people set up their Sinatra test suites (outside of the basic helloworld example that is the only example I can find for Sinatra tests). Thanks!

  Hi, I have just started looking at JqueryMobile and want to know if the following is possible? I want to be able to select a file (similar to in html) and then show some sort of dialogue that allows me to browse to a "folder" and select the file. It would then be up to me to send some sort of AJAX command to upload it to the server (where I am using Asp.net MVC 2) Since I do not have access to an iPhone or iPad, I was told that I would only have access to the documents folder.   Input: I have a LaTeX file, with plain text & math formulas. Desired output: I want a list of elements, where each element is: x-coordinate y-coordinate font_name character_id Basically, I want to take a LaTeX file, r"render it", but instead of printing it / getting an image, I want it to say "okay, you have a Sigma symbol here, then you have a 'x' symbol there, ...)   I'm getting a datetime string in a format like "2009-05-28T16:15:00" (this is ISO 8601, I believe) one hack-ish option seems to be to parse the string using time.strptime and passing the first 6 elements of the touple into the datetime constructor, like: datetime.datetime(*time.strptime("2007-03-04T21:08:12", "%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S")[:6]) I haven't been able to find a "cleaner" way of doing this, is there one?

  I am getting the message: * _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x3f43660 of class UICFFont autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking I have placed a break point using the symbol _NSAutoreleaseNoPool and the program does break, however, the stack trace does not show me any of my code only some UIView and Core Animation layer code. Is there a better way to get to the bottom of the issue? There is apparently a thread that does not have an auto release pool, but I can't figure out where. Thanks.

• My PHP script for sending emails wont send

  Well I'm working on a school project, and I uploaded my script to send emails. I'm pretty much using whats defined here: http://www.webcheatsheet.com/PHP/send_email_text_html_attachment.php . Now, all I really changed(other than the contents), is the receiver, to my email address. However, I'm not getting it in my inbox. Is there something else I need? Do I need to do something with the settings on the server(or have my school enable something)?

  I'm getting SQL update statements from NHibernate having a empty set clause ie UPDATE SET WHERE x == ? This propblem is occuring when a child entity is being updated for some reason the sql statement is being run against the Parent Entity, for some reason NHibenate is saying the parent has changed but when the set clause is being built no changes are found, can anyone help. The application I am constructing isn 3 tier. The domain entities are light weight data contract only entities.

  Hey All, assuming I'm running a small shop (3 devs) and using a Windows 7 machine as a centralised Git and IIS server what is the easiest way to get CI up and running? This must be locally hosted CI (no github, no remote servers). I'm doing C# .Net development with Visual Studio 2008.   I've got a variable, let's say $x and it holds the value of website.com. I want to be able to call the variable and apply shell color to it like so: echo -e '\033[1;32m$x:\033[0m'; The problem is not the color, however, it's how the script it interpretting the output. So the output I'm getting is: $x: I need the output to obviously be the string in the variable, and not the variable name. Is there any way around this issue?

  I recently started using Linux and was floored by the ease with which windows can be moved and resized with simple keyboard combinations using Compiz. If I want to move a terminal to top-right of the screen a simple CTRL+ALT+Numpad9 does the trick for me, and it resizes the window at the same time. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. • How to retrieve the XML file which is under the project folder

  I having an XML file and that file is under the Documents folder. If I actually give the entire path in C# then I am able to retrieve the XML values, but if I give the project path then it is not getting the values. For example: string fileNamePath=ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["XMLDocPath"].ToString() + fileName; m_xmld.Load(fileNamePath); It is throwing a runtime error.
