• I really need help with Delphi... text files and arrays with sorting?

  I have read a text file (of names) into an array and I need how to sort those names into alphabetical order and display that in a rich edit? Please give me the code from this point onwards: readln(myfile,arr[i]); 'myfile' is the text file and 'arr' is the array of string. Also, I have declared 'i' as an integer even though it is a array of string. Is that OK?

Making them global will do only one create and one free. What is the recommended method to use in this case? If the recommended method is to still define it locally, then I'm wondering if there are any situations where it is better to define globally when defining locally is still an option.

For ex - [@"a--b-c---d" htmlList: @"--"] returns @ "ab-c-d" the "--" is the delimiter to seperate the string of elements. I have used NSSArray to store the input string and function componentsSeperatedByString:@"--" to get the elements.   I usually see Ruby on Rails books using script/generate model Story name:string link:string which is a singular Story, while when it is controller script/generate controller Stories index then the Story now is Stories, which is plural. Is this a standard on Ruby on Rails? Is it true in other MVC frameworks too, like CakePHP, Symfony, Django, or TurboGears? I see that in the book Rails Space, the controller is also called User, which is the same as the model name, and it is the only exception I see.
