Listener error not connecting

I have two database running on Port No : 1521. When i m connecting to ORCL db it get's connected, but when i try to connect to another DB it gives me following error. How to access generic property without knowing the closed generic type

I have a generic Type as follows public class TestGeneric<T> { public T Data { get; set; } public TestGeneric(T data) { this.Data = data; } } If i have now an object (which is coming from some external source) from which i know that it's type is of some closed TestGeneric<, but i don't know the TypeParameter T. Now I need to access the Data of my object. Problem is that i can't cast the object, since i don't know exactly to which closed TestGeneric. Positioning / Scrolling problem with Flex popup.

Hi all, I'm trying to work out a specific problem I'm having with positioning in Flex using the PopUpManager. Basically I'm wanting to create a popup which will scroll with the parent container - this is necessary because the parent container is large and if the user's browser window isn't large enough (this will be the case the majority of the time) - they will have to use the scrollbar of the container to scroll down. DDMS plugin not loading GPX files

I am unable to load a GPX file in the DDMS eclipse plugin. When specifying a GPX file, no points are added to the emulator control list. I have tried adding KML files as well, generated in Google earth. Is there a way to get these files to work? Makefile : Build in a separate directory tree

My project (an interpreted language) has a standard library composed by multiple files, each of them will be built into an .so dynamic library that the interpreter will load upon user request (with an import directive). I am building a web service that receives a SAML attribute query and responds with an attribute statement. I know I can return one or multiple values of a SAML attribute. I have some values that are dependent on the other attribute values. I need to show that relationship. Let us say, the query is for the Subject Dave and the return values are his company and job title. Dave can work at multiple companies with job title at each company. I have two options of sending this data back: Send this as a complextype by defining an attribute organization and return xml within that attribute. <saml:Attribute name="company"> <saml:AttributeValue> <company name="company1" jobtitle="CIO"/> <company name="company2" jobtitle="VP"/> </saml:AttributeValue> Try to send multiple values of attributes somehow sending a reference in attributevalue element. <saml:Attribute name="company"> <attributeValue>company1</attributeValue> <attributeValue>company2</attributeValue> </saml:Attribute> <saml:Attribute name="jobTitle> <attributeValue company="company1">CIO</attributeValue> <attributeValue company="company2">VP</attributeValue> </saml:Attribute> Which approach will you prefer? Why? I am biased towards second approach as it does not require client to know about any schema. It does require them to know about non-standard attribute company in the attribute value.

Create Generic method constraining T to an Enum

Firefox: Can I use a relative path in the BASE tag?

I have a little web project where I have many pages and an index/ToC file. The toc file is at the root of my project in toc.html. The pages are spread over a couple of subdirectories and include the toc with an iframe. The project doesn't need a web server, so I can create the HTML in a directory and browse it in my browser. The problem is that I'm running into XSS issues when JavaScript from the toc.html wants to call a function in a page (violation of the same origin policy). So I added base tags in the header with a relative URL to the directory in which toc.html. This works for Konqueror but in Firefox, I have to use absolute paths or the toc won't even display :( Here is an example: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8' ?> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <base href="../" target="_top" /> <title>Project 1</title> </head> <body> <iframe class="toc" frameborder="0" src="toc.html"> </iframe> </body> </html> This is file is in a subdirectory page. Firefox won't even load it, saying that it can't find page/toc.html. Is there a workaround? I would really like to avoid absolute paths in my export to keep it the same everywhere (locally and when I upload it on the web server later).

I have working code using the spring-ws library to respond to soap requests. I moved this code to a different project (I'm merging projects) and now it is failing. I would like to figure out the reason for the failure. The symptom I get is this: when the HTTP request arrives, spring begins handling the call. Some googling for the error message suggests that the problem is that a PushbackInputStream which is apparently used for reading from the socket is read twice or perhaps has close() called and then is read afterward. It is happening inside of spring-ws, not my code, and since it worked fine before I moved the code to a new project it must have something to do with versions of spring, or something it uses like axis or xerces. But I can't find any differences in versions of these! Has anyone encountered this error before? Or do you have any suggestions of approaches I could take in troubleshooting this?

Hi all, My application supports internationalization and localization, each user can choose his preference language and the application will reflect it perfectly. the issue is when the first user selects English and the second one selects French the resource bundle for the first user will read from the French resource after refreshing his page. Hello, I'm trying to extend two native PHP5 classes (DOMDocument and DOMNode) to implement 2 methods (selectNodes and selectSingleNode) in order to make XPath queries easier. I thought it would be rather straighforward, but I'm stuck in a problem which I think is an OOP beginner's issue. class nDOMDocument extends DOMDocument { public function selectNodes($xpath){ $oxpath = new DOMXPath($this); return $oxpath->query($xpath); } public function selectSingleNode($xpath){ return $this->selectNodes($xpath)->item(0); } } Then I tried to do extend DOMNode to implement the same methods so I can perform an XPath query directly on a node: class nDOMNode extends DOMNode { public function selectNodes($xpath){ $oxpath = new DOMXPath($this->ownerDocument,$this); return $oxpath->query($xpath); } public function selectSingleNode($xpath){ return $this->selectNodes($xpath)->item(0); } } Now if I execute the following code (on an arbitrary XMLDocument): $xmlDoc = new nDOMDocument; $xmlDoc->loadXML(...some XML...); $node1 = $xmlDoc->selectSingleNode("//item[@id=2]"); $node2 = $node1->selectSingleNode("firstname"); The third line works and returns a DOMNode object $node1. However, the fourth line doesn't work because the selectSingleNode method belongs to the nDOMNode class, not DOMNode. So my question: is there a way at some point to "transform" the returned DOMNode object into a nDOMNode object? I feel I'm missing some essential point here and I'd greatly appreciate your help. Seam unit test can't connect to JBoss4.0.5GA

Does anybody know how to connect with JBoss4.0.5GA in Seam2.2.0GA unit test? I'm using Seam2.2.0GA with the embeded JBoss to run the unit test, the module needs to call old JBoss server (EJB2, because the vendor locked in JCA has to deploy on old JBoss). it's typical seam test case, and I can't get it connect to JBoss4.0.5GA by using jbossall-client.jar from JBoss4.0.5GA. so far I tested the embeded JBoss can only working with JBoss5.X server. with JBoss4.2.3GA, it report: [testng] java.rmi.MarshalException: Failed to communicate. The Adobe doc Developing AIR applications for mobile devices lists quite a few icons to be declared in an application descriptor file. But when I try Export Release Build with the following myApp-app.xml: <icon> <image16x16>assets/icons/16x16.png</image16x16> <image29x29>assets/icons/29x29.png</image29x29> <image32x32>assets/icons/32x32.png</image32x32> <image36x36>assets/icons/36x36.png</image36x36> <image48x48>assets/icons/48x48.png</image48x48> <image57x57>assets/icons/57x57.png</image57x57> <image72x72>assets/icons/72x72.png</image72x72> <image114x114>assets/icons/114x114.png</image114x114> <image128x128>assets/icons/128x128.png</image128x128> <image512x512>assets/icons/512x512.png</image512x512>  </icon> I get the error message (regardless if deploying for Android or iOS) unless I comment the 5 lines as above: error 103: application.icon.image50x50 is an unexpected element/attribute error 103: application.icon.image58x58 is an unexpected element/attribute error 103: application.icon.image100x100 is an unexpected element/attribute error 103: application.icon.image1024x1024 is an unexpected element/attribute error 103: application.icon.image144x144 is an unexpected element/attribute My question is what to do here? Moving those 5 icons underneath <android>....</android> or <iphone>....</iphone> doesn't help either. Using Flash Builder 4.7 beta under Windows 7 / 64 bit.

Use web.sitemap to control page access

I was setting up permissions for pages in a ASP.NET website with <location> tags in web.config, something similar to this: <location path="Users.aspx"> <system.web> <authorization> <allow roles="Administrator"/> <deny users="*"/> </authorization> </system.web> </location> However, I also have a web.sitemap which basically contains the same information, i.e. which user roles can see/access which pages. A snippet from my web.sitemap: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <siteMap xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/AspNet/SiteMap-File-1.0" > <siteMapNode title="Home"> ... lots of nodes here ... <siteMapNode url="users.aspx" roles="Administrator" title="users" description="Edit users" /> ... </siteMapNode> </siteMap> Is there some kind of nifty way of using web.sitemap only to configure access? The <location> tags are quite verbose, and I don't like having to duplicate this information.

Is it possible to run my Windows Form application in Windows CE platform?

I am new in Windows CE development and never done it yet. Need some advise from the expert in here. In our current project, we are developing a client-server application. The client side is using a windows form application that are base on Windows XP OS while the server is a web base application. This question are related to the client application (Windows Form). This application are using Sql Server Express Edition for data storage. The data is stored in XML object format. It also can transfer a data from client to server via web service. It also interact with hardware such as Magnetic Stripe Reader, Contactless Smart Card Reader, and a thermal printer. Most of the communication between hardware device and systems are base on Serial Port. It is use standard app.config for the configuration and is a multi threaded application. There is a new requirement to use a Handheld device which is use a Windows CE platform. This handheld included the required equipment such as Contactless Smart Card Reader, Printer and Magnetic Stripe Reader. Instead of developing a new client application, is it possible to me to convert my current application that are base on Windows XP to Windows CE? If yes, how can I do that? If no, is it any other brilliant suggestion to do this? Thanks in advance. Software Engineer

Hi folks, I want to fetch data from the LinkedIn API for that I am using the Scribe library.All requests are giving me data as expected but when I tried two facet in the url then scribe is not able to get data from LinkedIn API. Link to RSS/Atom feed, relative, doesn't work in Firefox

I have a weird problem. I generate a HTML page, hosted let's say at http://www.x.com/stuff which contains <head> <link type="application/atom+xml" rel="alternate" href="/stuff/feed"/> .. </head> The result is: In IE7 all works well - you can click on the feed icon in the browser and the feed is displayed In Firefox, view source, click on the linked /stuff/feed and you see the source of the feed, so that works as expected In Firefox, view the page (not source), then click on the feed icon in the address bar, I get an error that it can't retrieve the URL feed://http//www.x.com/stuff/feed So the problem is, that it's appending feed:// to the front of the URL and then taking out the colon : after the http. I understand that feed: is HTTP anyway so perhaps the adding of that isn't a big problem. But anyway, the fact is, that URL Firefox generates out of my <link> tag doesn't work. I have considered making the URL absolute, but I haven't found any evidence that those URLs have to be absolute, nor can I understand why that would be the case. And for various reasons it would be inconvenient in my code to generate an absolute URL. I can do it if necessary but I would prefer to see proof (e.g. specification, or Mozilla bug report) that it's necessary before making my code messy What do you think? Does anyone know of any evidence that the URL should be absolute? Or am I doing something else wrong? It seems such a simple/obvious tag, where nothing could go wrong, but I can't get it to work.

security negotiation with the remote endpoint has failed. This may be due to absent or incorrectly specified EndpointIdentity in the EndpointAddress used to create the channel. Please verify the EndpointIdentity specified or implied by the EndpointAddress correctly identifies the remote endpoint.
