Spinner will display only text data not code. code , text 1 , a 2, b 3,c . . . etc i have stored above comma seperated data in same activity class (Hard coded form) now if user selects "a" from the dropdown then it should get its code rather then text. can any one guide me how to achieve this? any help would be appriciated.

  How can I intercept submitted form input and modify it before it is bound to my model? For example, if I wanted to trim the whitespace from all text. I tried searching for tutorials to dynamically build hashes, but all I could find were introductory articles about hashes. I would be grateful if you point me towards the right direction or suggest a nice article/tutorial.   I have a large repository hosted on dreamhost that I backup daily on a remote machine using a windows scheduled task which updates the working copy located on an external USB 300GB drive connected to the remote machine. The 300GB drive is nearly full with only 26GB of free space remaining. Recently I added a second USB external 1TB drive to increase storage capacity. I would like to ask: what is the best way to use the new 1TB drive? Is it possible to span the working copy across both drives (ex: somehow create a 1.3 TB drive)? If I copied the working copy from the 300GB to the 1TB would svn continue form do I need to retarget the update working copy script to the new 1TB drive and start downloading everything again (least desired option) thanks

What's to stop me from getting access to this information? If the webpage tries to clean out old information when opened a user-script could easily prevent the website from fully loading and then search through the database. • Displaying list of objects as single column in a bound gridview (Winforms)?

  I have a gridview that is bound to a datasource on a Windows Form (VB.NET). The grid displays a list of "certifications", and each "certification" can be associated with many languages. So in the grid, I'd like to display "languages" as a column, and display a comma delimited list of the language names for each "certification". In the "certification" class, one of the properties is a list of "language" objects, and each "language" has an ID (guid), name (string), and value (integer). So in the datasource, I have the list of "languages", but I can't figure out how to display them in a column on the grid. The gridview won't let me add the language list property as a column. So is the ONLY way to add a new property on the "certification" class, which returns a string that contains the comma delimited list, and show THAT on the grid? Or is there a way to display that list of "languages"?

• FDF-files not opening properly

  We have created a servlet that provides a FDF file for our clients. The FDF file is created by iText and the output looks fine. Whenever we open the FDF either from the Servlet, or from a local file, AcrobatReader starts, asks if the PDF should be downloaded, we allow that and then we see the PDF - without the values we filled in the form. One thing that seems strange is, that regardless of the Browser, we get prompted about what to do with the PDF file that Adobe has tried to load. Anything else that clicking "open" will result in a empty Acrobat viewer window. I suspect that Acrobat forgets what to do with the PDF - but I have run out of ideas. Anyone got an idea where to look further?

I started in the Form Designer and made a button named "Click Me!" proceeded to double-click it and typed in MessageBox("Hello, World!"); I received the following error: MessageBox is a 'type' but used as a 'variable' Fair enough, it seems in C# MessageBox is an Object. I tried the following MessageBox a = new MessageBox("Hello, World!"); I received the following error: MessageBox does not contain a constructor that takes '1' arguments Now I am stumped. • Is a "Confirm Email" input good practice when user changes email address?

  My organization has a form to allow users to update their email address with us. It's suggested that we have two input boxes for email: the second as an email confirmation. I always copy/paste my email address when faced with the confirmation. I'm assuming most of our users are not so savvy. Regardless, is this considered a good practice? I can't stand it personally, but I also realize it probably isn't meant for me. If someone screws up their email, they can't login, and they must call to sort things out.

An example of app that implements this behavior is Text Expander. Text Expander reads everything the user types in, searching for abbreviations previously added on it. When one of this abbreviations is found, Text Expander replace the abbreviation form for the entire content related to that abbreviation. So, I would like to know what resource of Objective-C or Cocoa let you do this kind of stuff. P.S.: Just to mention, I'm not thinking about developing something like a key logger. I'm just curious and thinking about at developing a snippet platform.

  I am having a hard time trying to find documentation at achieving IPC using Coldfusion 9 portlets under JBOSS. Does anyone have any good references I can take a look at? Or maybe some example code that I can go off of? So far I've been successful in getting my portlets working under Liferay (JBOSS), form submission, different views (edit/help) all work fine. Just need to know how to have one portlet on the page talk with another portlet. So far have been unsuccessful :( Anyone?

  I need to ensure that an application I am developing is accessable and also works with JavaScript turned off. I just need a pointer to assist with the following. I had 3 'chained' select boxes and I wanted JavaScript enabled clients to have a nice Ajax experience. I can easily write the required functionality to populate the chained boxes on the change event of the preceeding select using jQuery and JSON with a WCF service. However what about the non JavaScript client? Would I wrap a submit next to the select and place these inside their own form to post back with a certain action or different querstring parameter? Can the same controller give me a partial JSON response as well as feeding the full HTML response. Can anyone point me to a good demo that utilises both JSON and normal HTTP posts to produce the same result in ASP.NET MVC. All ASP.NET MVC demo/examples I see forget about the non JavaScript enabled client.

  How can I set a verbose_name for a model's method, so that it might be displayed in the admin's change_view form? example: class Article(models.Model): title = models.CharField(max_length=64) created_date = models.DateTimeField(....) def created_weekday(self): return self.created_date.strftime("%A") in admin.py: class ArticleAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin): readonly_fields = ('created_weekday',) fields = ('title', 'created_weekday') Now the label for created_weekday is "Created Weekday", but I'd like it to have a different label which should be i18nable using ugettext_lazy as well. I've tried created_weekday.verbose_name=... after the method, but that did not show any result. Is there a decorator or something I can use, so I could make my own "verbose_name" / "label" / whateverthename is?
