  • Get node name with minidom

    Is it possible to get the name of a node using minidom? for example i have a node: <heading><![CDATA[5 year]]></heading> what i'm trying to do is store the value heading so that i can use it as a key in a dictionary, the closest i can get is something like [<DOM Element: heading at 0x11e6d28>] i'm sure i'm overlooking something very simple here, thanks!

  • Git push from post-receive

    I have two servers, let's call them first and second. First one is where the real development is done, and second one should be the replica. What I would like to do is put "git push" in post-receive, but there is one problem. Post-receive is executed as the user doing git push to first server, so I can't chmod 600 ssh key with no pass. What is the best practice for this? Thanx!

    I have a set of 7 dropdown inputs allowing admins to say whether they are open or closed for business on a given day. I'd like that changed to 7 open/closed switches (presumably styled checkboxes?) but can't figure out how to do this! For example: if given empId=5, if empId=5 has children records, display them, as well as the children in children records. You may also provide a recursive suggestion without level limitation.     Tie::Hash has these: sub FIRSTKEY { my $a = scalar keys %{$_[0]}; each %{$_[0]} } sub NEXTKEY { each %{$_[0]} } NEXTKEY takes two arguments, one of which is the last key but that arg is never referenced? The various Tie docs don't shed any light on this other than this in perltie: my $a = keys %{$self->{LIST}}; # reset each() iterator looking at the doc for each doesn't add to this. What's going on?

If I had the key for all the records in the table I could loop and use nHibernate's Get method (this seems inefficient though) but I don't have the keys.   • Why cant i use the field user in SQL Server 8?

    Maybe not literally but the query below gets an error near user. If i change it to userZ it works. WHY can i not use that name? Is there a way to specific its a field instead of a keyword? I have a problem with the following very simple piece of code: myKey = Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey(@"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"); if (myKey != null) { string[] HKLMvaluenames = myKey.GetValueNames(); } But for some reason HKLMvaluenames array is populated with values from the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Is there a way around this problem?

  • getting emacs to move cursor by words on a Mac

    It's supposed to be M + cursor, but any shortcut in emacs using M (escape) on my mac sucks, because every time i need to use it, i need to release M (the escape key) and then press it again. Is there a better shortcut for moving along words in emacs (kind of like ctr + arrow in windows?)
