  I have UIScrollView with multiple UIVIew subviews. I would like to update the data that is displayed by each UIView when they appear in the visible portion of the UIScrollView. What is the callback that gets triggered? I tried viewWillAppear, but it does not seem to get called. Thanks. :)

• How are Cassandra's 0.7 Secondary Indexes stored?

  We have been using Cassandra 0.6 and now have Column Families with millions of keys. We are interested in using the new Secondary Index feature available in the 0.7 but couldn't find any documentation on how the new index is stored. Is there any disk-space limitation or is the index stored similar to keys in that it's spread over multiple nodes? I've tried combing through the Cassandra site for an answer but to no avail.

I realize that the blame may be mixed within a given hunk, in which case it would be nice to either collect multiple reviewers or just choose the most "blameworthy" one (breaking ties arbitrarily is fine).

  I have this mysql query: SELECT * FROM Customer c JOIN eHRDemographic ehD ON ehD.CxID = c.CustomerID JOIN CustPrimaryWeight cpW ON cpW.CxID = c.CustomerID WHERE c.CustomerID =22703 GROUP BY c.CustomerID ORDER BY cpW.CustPrimaryWeightID DESC This doesn't really work correctly as the CustPrimaryWeight table has multiple enteries and it's simply joining the first entry and not the more recent one as the ORDER statement doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?

How would one go about finding all duplicate files for a given tree? Would you have to walk the tree and look for duplicate hashes, or does git provide backlinks from each blob to all files in a tree that reference it?

  I know that objects are treated pretty much like singletons in scala. However, I have been unable to find an elegant way to specify default behavior on initial instantiation. I can accomplish this by just putting code into the body of the object declaration but this seems overly hacky. Using an apply doesn't really work because it can be called multiple times and doesn't really make sense for this use case. Any ideas on how to do this?
