  • Invoke Maven-Module build from intellij

    Hi All I was wondering if someone knows a way to invoke a specific maven module build from IntelliJ that will also build ( or use already compiled classes ) from depended modules. So for instance if I would like to build the module "Model" in the picture and only it , it seems reasonable for me to click the package step on it. But what is actually does it invokes the mvn package step inside this specific module rather than "mvn -am -pl module-name" from the root module , which also builds all the dependencies. So is there something that I just don't know ?

  • Win7 - Opening "Programs and Features" as Admin from command line (logged in as regular user)

    We have Win7 machines on a domain that we'd like to open the "Programs and Features" control applet via the command line while a regular user is logged in. Heres the catch: I know how to do this using runas from command line BUT after "Programs and Features" opens, I dont truly have the ability to remove a program. I am told that I need to be an Admin to do so. Here are the commands I have tried: runas /user:%computername%\administrator cmd.exe then in the new cmd window running: control appwiz.cpl runas /user:%companydomain%\%domainadminacct% cmd.exe then in the new cmd window running: control appwiz.cpl runas /user:%computername%\administrator cmd.exe then in the new cmd window running: rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL appwiz.cpl runas /user:%companydomain%\%domainadminacct% cmd.exe then in the new cmd window running: rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL appwiz.cpl I have also tried all of the above as one long line of code instead of launching a cmd.exe as Admin As you can see, I have tried running the command using both a local admin account (Administrator) AND a domain admin account. I have alos tried launching the runas command as one long command (opening the "programs and features") AND 1st launching a cmd.exe with admin rights and THEN launching the "Prgrams and Features" window. The result is the same: The "Programs and Features" windows opens but when I try to perform an uninstall, I am told I need Admin rights. Thus I am lead to believe that this instance of "Programs and Features" is not truly being run as an admin I am trying to avoid logging the regular user out. I am also aware that every program has its own uninstaller, I do not want to uninstall that way. I want to use the uninstaller in "Programs and Features". Any help is appreciated.

    Hi, I need to call a function from a python script and pass in parameters into it. I have a test python script which I can call and run from java using Jepp - this then adds the person. Eg Test.py import Finding from Finding import * f = Finding() f.addFinding("John", "Doe", 27) Within my Finding class I have addFinding(firstname, lastName, age) However, I wish to be able to do this from within java. Should I be using the jep.invoke() method. Does anyone have a hello world example of such a thing being done or forward me to some good examples? Does anyone have any suggestions please? I know it's possible to start the iPhone maps application by calling openURL on a google maps URL with parameters saddr and daddr with location strings or LatLong (see ex. below), but I'm wondering if it's possible to make the start address be the "Current Location" maps bookmark so that I can use the maps app's location handling code. My Google search has been pretty fruitless. ex: [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:[NSString stringWithFormat: @"http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=%@&daddr=%@", myLatLong, latlong]]]; Except with something to invoke the current location bookmark in place of myLatLong.   • Flex RemoteObject Intermittently Failing to Invoke CFC

    I have a Flex app that uses Flash Remoting and the RemoteObject to pull data from a ColdFusion CFC. About 75% of the time it works, but the other times I get a message using Charles (a debugging tool) that says faultString = "Unable to Invoke CFC". FaultCode = "Server.Processing". Here's my RemoteObject: The server set up on our web farm is to use load balancing. I'm not sure if this is causing the problem or not. Probably not, but it's a thought. Any help is appreciated!!

    I need a command that can be run from the command line to create a folder for each file (based on the file-name) in a directory and then move the file into the newly created folders. Example : Starting Folder: Dog.jpg Cat.jpg The following command works great at creating a folder for each filename in the current working directory. for %i in (*) do md "%~ni" Result Folder: \Dog\ \Cat\ Dog.jpg Cat.jpg I need to take this one step further and move the file into the folder. What I want to achieve is: \Dog\Dog.jpg \Cat\Cat.jpg Can someone help me with one command to do all of this?

    I have multiple PuTTy sessions open to my SunOS 5.10 server, and I am using ksh, and SOMETIMES the command history is shared among the different sessions and SOMETIMES it is not. I cannot figure out what determines whether it is or is not shared. By shared what I mean is that a command run in one session will be seen as previous command run in another session. I prefer it not to be shared, is there a config setting for that? Thanks

    Hi I've installed docutils on my Mac OS system following the docutils instructions. I've also done: $ sudo cp tools/buildhtml.py tools/rst2html.py /usr/local/bin However, if I open a command line and type rst2html, I get 'command not found'. If I type rst2html.py, there's no problem, so the Python file itself is on my path. How do I get my system to recognize rst2html as a valid command? Thanks!

  • Command+Tab not working on MacOSX Client with Synergy

    I have an Ubuntu 11.10 laptop paired with an Apple Wireless Keyboard. I'm using the answer on this question to swap the Command and Option keys so that they are mapped like a regular keyboard. This works fine in Ubuntu. Now I have a Macbook Pro running as a Synergy Client. This mapping kind of works on the Macbook, but it only allows me to Command+Tab between two programs, not all of them. Copy, Paste, and other Command keys seem to work fine, but not Command+Tab. It's annoying just because I use the keyboard a lot. And yes, I could switch to syncing the keyboard and the Macbook, but I use the Ubuntu laptop more.

  • krenew command not working : Permission Denied

    I am using a Linux server to perform my simulations. The login and the file-system of the server are protected using kerberos. The file-system is supported using NFS. Since my simulations take a lot of time to run, my ssh sessions used to hang regularly. So, I have started running my simulations in byobu (similar to screen). In order to make sure that my kerberos session remains active, I am using the krenew command. I have entered the following command in my .bash_profile file. (I am sure that it is called for every login) killall -9 krenew 2> /dev/null krenew -b -t -K 10 So everytime I ssh to the server, I kill the existing krenew command. Then, I spawn a new krenew command -b (which runs in background), -t (I forgot why I was using this option !), and -K 10 (It must run after every 10 minutes and refresh the kerberos cache). When I run the simulations, It runs for 14 hours and then suddenly, I am getting error for reading file Permission Denied Is the command that I am running incorrect ??

  • PHP Page Stopped outputting content After Running "yum install php-devel" Command

    This error is bizarre but after running the "yum install php-devel" command (after a long day of trying to install Facedetect and OpenCV for face detection) my site stopped functioning. The site uses mysql and php. When you hit the url, the page executes the mysql and the php, but it appears to randomly stop outputting the content of the page. None of the code was changed and the site was working flawlessly prior to running the mentioned ssh command. I do use output buffering in the site, but after removing the calls "ob_flush", "ob_end_flush" and "ob_start" it didn't appear to help—still having issues with the site. Any ideas what this could be?     I am trying to install SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition x64 on a Windows Server 2008 VM. I run the installer for a standalone installation and this works fine for the setup support rules bit. That passes ok but then I get this error: TITLE: SQL Server Setup failure. SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error: Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created.. BUTTONS: OK How can I resolve this? I am getting 2008 R2 CTP but this is just a CTP. My download is from DreamSpark. Thanks

    I'm using Debian squeeze with Gnome Desktop for all my users. I have a group of machines to set up so that all users should use xpdf as a default viewer (rather than evince). I want this set up to be done by command line (even better, using puppet). I know about xpg-mime command, but the man page says that the default command should not be used as root. I could manually tweek the /etc/gnome/defaults.list files, but I'm looking for a single command I could run to perform the setting without an editor interaction. Any idea ?

  • Fault exception trashes a register causing a crash in [NSInvocation invoke]

    I have an NSOperation which fetches some objects from a core data persistent store and sums up a few totals. Sometimes an object is deleted while the operation in in progress, so a core data fault exception occurs. I try/catch the exception while summing to ignore it because I just want to skip objects that cannot be faulted in. However, when one of these fault exceptions occurs (and I swallow it) there is a crash after the invocation returns in [NSInvocation invoke]. It's a bad memory access when dereferencing the value in r10 which according to GDB on a successful run points to one of these: (gdb) x 0x38388348 0x38388348 <OBJC_IVAR_$_NSInvocation._retdata>: 0x00000008 If a fault exception occured a value of 0x02 is in the register which causes the crash. A quick google search tells me that r10 should be saved by the callee, meaning it is not being restored by whatever code is changing it when this exception occurs. Can anybody explain this? I'm not an expert when it comes to these kinds of low-level details

(I'm aware, that I could search the list and set the selectedIndex property for each dropdown, but I have many items and i'm very lazy.) EDIT: npups answer works: I can select my desired item in the first dropdownlist. The problem is however, that new values based on that selected item (it is a CascadingDropDown, remember?) don't show in the second dropdown so I can't select anything there. I would need to somehow invoke the update method of the second dropdown manually: any suggestions?

  • How to dynamically add a Javascript function (and invoke)

    Based on a click event on the page, via ajax I fetch a block of html and script, I am able to take the script element and append it to the head element, however WebKit based browsers are not treating it as script (ie. I cannot invoke a function declared in the appended script). Using the Chrome Developer Tools I can see that my script node is indeed there, but it shows up differently then a script block that is not added dynamically, a non-dynamic script has a text child element and I cannot figure out a way to duplicate this for the dynamic script. Any ideas or better ways to be doing this? The driving force is there is potentially a lot of html and script that would never be needed unless a user clicks on a particular tab, in which case the relevant content (and script) would be loaded.     Windows CMD shell - any easy way of redirecting the command itself into the output? If I do net localgroup administrators %computername%-admins.txt, I'd like the output file to contain the net statement as well. No powershell available to me; pure CMD/COMMAND only. This is for an audit; the auditors want to see what command generated the output. I'm trying to avoid screenshots or enormous copy-paste from CMD windows.
