• Find all substrings between two strings

  I need to get all substrings from string. For ex: StringParser.GetSubstrings("[start]aaaaaa[end] wwwww [start]cccccc[end]", "[start]", "[end]"); that returns 2 string "aaaaaa" and "cccccc" Suppose we have only one level of nesting. Not sure about regexp, but I think it will be userful.

Instead of needing to redirect Response.Redirect("~/folder1/folder2/some.aspx") I need the location as if it behaved like string navigatingUrl = Response.Redirect("~/folder1/folder2/some.aspx") Trying to replicate this I started with string navigatingUrl = new Uri(HttpContext.Current.Request.Url, new Uri("~/folder1/folder2/some.aspx", UriKind.Relative)); This instead generates "http://www.fullRequestUrl/~/folder1/folder2/some.aspx"

  I have a search on my php page and it is ok. With my search result, I highlighted the string target on my content. $search_tag_text = @preg_replace("/($mysearch)/i", "<u style=\"color:red\">$1</u>", $row->txtContent); Ok, but is it possible, after having found a string target on my content, to show 20 words before and 20 words after, instead listing all my content? Any help will be appreciated.

• C# - are private members inherited?

  Hi, Just seen one tutorial saying that: Class Dog { private string Name; } Class SuperDog:Dog { private string Mood; } Then there was an UML displaying that SuperDog will inherit Name as well. I have tried but to me it seems that only public members are inherited. At least I could not access Name unless it was declared as public. Thanks

  I have a situation where I need to extract dates from the file names whose general pattern is [filename_]YYYYMMDD[.fileExtension] e.g. "xxx_20100326.xls" or x2v_20100326.csv The below program does the work //Number of charecter in the substring is set to 8 //since the length of YYYYMMDD is 8 public static string ExtractDatesFromFileNames(string fileName) { return fileName.Substring(fileName.IndexOf("_") + 1, 8); } Is there any better option of achieving the same? I have the function with following signature: void box_sort(int**, int, int) and variable of following type: int boxes[MAX_BOXES][MAX_DIMENSIONALITY+1] When I am calling the function box_sort(boxes, a, b) GCC gives me two warnings: 103.c:79: warning: passing argument 1 of ‘box_sort’ from incompatible pointer type (string where i am calling the function) 103.c:42: note: expected ‘int **’ but argument is of type ‘int (*)[11] (string where the function is defined) The question is why? Whether int x[][] and int** x (and actually int* x[]) are not the same types in C?

I can very well parse this string in Javascript, but can not find a Java API which will help me parse this. All the APIs I tried assumes strict JSON format. I'm at a pretty good point, but in the future I see one big problem: views. I'm used to the great <body><?php echo "Hey!"; ?></body> embedded php, but there's no such thing in C++, so I'm wondering: How would you deal with views? Would you create a simple find-replace-variable templating system and deal with thousands of partial views?
