I'm trying to prove that changing document.domain can be used only for cross scripting on the same upper level domain. For example if i will try to change document.domain to "google.com" on page which is located on www.test.com I will get a security exception in FF. Does anybody know where to locate an official proof of that?
Hi,
as I probably do not describe the problem in the right terms, I was not able to get an answer with google. Please excuse!
In the following code, I would like to replace 'hardcoded' identifier COMMENT with the variable editedField. How to do that?
var editedField:String = event.dataField;
if (model.multipleProcessingData[i][editedInformationProductNO].COMMENT != null{
...
}
Have any of you seen like a javascript library that allows fluid div scrolling. I kind of want to do something like the scroll bars in google wave...but maybe less annoying. I happen to love them but it doesn't seem like they're getting that good of a review.
I'm experimenting with building sites dynamically on the client side, through javascript + a json content server, the js retrieves the content, and builds the page client-side. Now, the content won't be indexed by google this way, is there a work around for this? like having a crawler version and a user version? Or having some sort of static archives? Has anyone done this already?
Hi there ,
in order to make things easier for users i want to add multiple keyword search to my site.
so that in the input the user would do something like : " keyword1 keyword 2" ( similar to google for example.
would i need to write a code that would parse that string and do queries based on that or is there something built in mysql that could do it?
Anyone know of a code editing platform that allows users to collaborate in a live environment? For example, google docs but for editing PHP code with others?
Hello,
Where can i find the key combinations for some actions, in Mozilla Firefox? For example, Ctrl+L moves the cursor to the address bar. I wanna move the cursor in the Google search box, from the right-top position). Which key is associated with this?
And some other key combinations?
Thanks!
What is the most common default computer name for Windows (Home, Pro, Vista, and 7)?
(Or a list of the most common.)
I tried Google, and read that Redhat linux defaults to "localhost," and Toshiba laptops (Windows) default to Toshiba, and some Dells default to DELL+some model number.
Hi
I've got a link on the web page that causes new browser window (tab) to be opened when it's clicked, like this:
<a id="lnkNewWindow" target="_blank" href="http://google.com">Open window</a>
I want to be able to track the window that will be created after this link is clicked. I'd like to perform some actions after the new window is closed. Is there any way to do this (preferably using jQuery)?
I've searched the iPhone documentation and on google but have not found any information regarding locale values for preferred measurement units such as kg or lb and etc.
Does anyone know if this does exist? Or conversely NOT exist?
Thanks
I am getting the same session key every time i log into. Why am i getting the same session key ?
Wonder if someone has worked on this API on Android: http://code.google.com/p/fbconnect-android/issues/detail?id=37
I'm trying to update and install the latest Android SDK (API 8) and keep getting the following error:
Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
I'm running on OS X 10.6.3 If I visit the url in a browser I'm not getting any errors about an untrusted cert.
I want to write a simple python script that send a EML file exported from Outlook though given smtp server as email to a given list of emails. I know how to send a simple email but sending a EML file as email is not something i could do and could not find it on Google. Can anyone help me with that. The EML file is actually in HTML format with embedded images. Any alternate suggestion is also welcome.
Are there any publicly available SOAP 1.2/WSDL 2.0 compliant free web services for testing a Python based soap client library (e.g. Zolera SOAP Infrastructure)?
So far, it appears to me that Google Web API may be the only option.
Otherwise, how can one test a SOAP 1.2 compliant client library?
I've noticed a couple of Android applications that seem to be using a 3rd party crash reporting tool. Has anyone seen this screen and do you know where I can find it? I started using http://code.google.com/p/android-remote-stacktrace/ but i rather not require internet permissions if I can use an intent to send emails.
Has anyone seen an example or done the following in Java:
http://duganchen.ca/single-page-web-app-architecture-done-right/
That is a design a single page web app that will work with Google SEO with out massive violation of DRY using Java technologies?
It doesn't seem terrible hard to do this on my own but I was curious (and lazy) to see if someone had already done it with either Spring or JAX-RS.
Hey guys,
Google just don't want to give me some useful results.
What does this line of code mean?
label.frame = (inPseudoEditMode) ? kLabelIndentedRect : kLabelRect;
The ? and : confuses me.
Thanks a lot!
When using GWT 2.0.x and SmartGWT 2.2
Code as simple as:
public class SmartGwtTest implements EntryPoint {
public void onModuleLoad() {
IButton button = new IButton("say hello");
}
}
will generate the exception.
com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (null):
This only happens in hosted (devmode)
ant hosted
I also suspect that maybe the GWT Development Plugin might have something to do with it.
Have you found a similar problem? How did you solve it?
I am using this module to authenticate using pam:
http://code.google.com/p/web2py/source/browse/gluon/contrib/pam.py
I can call authenticate('username','password') and it returns True/ False. It works for any 'username' but 'root'. My guess is that there is a security restriction in PAM that does not allow to check for the root password.
I need to be able to check the root password. Is there anything I can change in the pam.conf or somewhere else to remove this restriction?
Hi,
I am planning on converting some longitude and latitude values to XML and then sending the file to a web server to display on a Google Map Interface.
Is it possible to send an XML file to a web server through my own application in Android?
Thanks
I'm trying to extend a GWT widget that is built using UIBinder. UIBinder expects the fields in ui.xml to be in the extended widget. The problem that was well described by 'Blessed Geek' on Google Groups. Any tips/tricks?
I am making for my Graduation Project a low price Navigation device, using Android as Operating System
I tried the Native Google's Map-view Control, but it works only Online ..
and of-course I want to store maps for offline navigation
So.. I want a map provider (like OpenStreetMaps) that :
I can use offline
Contain Searchable Street names (not only a rendered image)
for commercial use
Free or at low price
The problem with OpenStreetMaps that it doesn't provide detailed map for most cities in Egypt.
What happened to asset_host in rails 3?
Earlier I can put following code into development.rb and get all assets not present on development:
ActionController::Base.asset_host = proc do |source, request|
unless File.exist?(File.join(RAILS_ROOT, 'public', source.sub(/\?\d+$/, '')))
'http://example.com'
end
end
But in rails 3 there is no such method and google does not help me.
