  Am unable to add elements to a dropdown list via Javascript. The below piece of code works in IE and Chrome, but not in firefox. ddlId.add(new Option("",0)); In firefox, I keep getting an 'Not enough arguments' exception. Any idea on how to resolve it? Thanks

• VS2010 constantly searching for something

  Hi, Recently my VS has started doing a search through all project assemblies after a project is reloaded, or after I close a window following a Go to Definition command. It just says Searching in the status bar, and enumerates the assembly names. It's driving me nuts, because the process can take up to a minute, and it completely locks up the whole application while it's doing this. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Aleko

• Websphre portal does not startup

  When I try to start up a websphere portal server, it hangs at the line : Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business and although it means that the server started up successfully, it is not...because in the progress bar, i stll see 'Starting.....' I have tried deleting the wstemp and temp directories but beyond that I am not sure what I can do to debug the problem. The server with the same profile starts up great from another workspace, but when I come to this workspace, it just hangs at Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business I am using RAD 7 and portal 6.1

  I think i know roughly why i'm getting this message. I opened a VS2008 project in VS2010, realised my code wont work with .NET 4, so i re opened it in VS2008 but now it wont build. • Does OpenCL allow concurrent writes to same memory address?

  Is two (or more) different threads allowed to write to the same memory location in global space in OpenCL? The write is always changing a uchar from 0 to 1 so the outcome should be predictable, but I'm getting erratic results in my program, so I'm wondering if the reason can be that some of the writes fail. Could it help to declare the buffer write-only and copy it to a read-only buffer afterwards?
