• What happened to MS AJAX Library 4.0

  I started to use the ms ajax 4.0 client library during the beta stages(the client template bits) and since I have upgraded to vs 2010 rtm I wanted to update my ajax code as well but I can't find anything about the library in the official rtm bits. Has it been completely replaced by jquery?

• Angular.js: value() not injected in config()

  I am having trouble getting the value() injected into the app.config(). Here's the code (coffeescript) window.app = angular.module("app", []) app.value("template_path", "assets/angular/templates/users") app.config(["$routeProvider","template_path" ($routeProvider, template_path) -> console.log template_path it is throwing an "Unknown provider: template_path from app" error Could it be that the config() method cannot be injected with value() set values? I'm sure the answer depends on your background, but my own personal answer is the conversion of basically anything in the language to a True/False value in boolean contexts. Resulting in "oddities" like: if x: not meaning the same thing as: if x == True: I understand why, but it bugs me, and I certainly had to think about it a bit when I first ran into it.

• VS2010 constantly searching for something

  Hi, Recently my VS has started doing a search through all project assemblies after a project is reloaded, or after I close a window following a Go to Definition command. It just says Searching in the status bar, and enumerates the assembly names. It's driving me nuts, because the process can take up to a minute, and it completely locks up the whole application while it's doing this. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Aleko

• why my C++ output executable is so big?

  I have a rather simple C++ project, which uses boost::regex library. The output I'm getting is 3.5Mb in size. As I understand I'm statically linking all boost .CPP files, including all functions/methods. Maybe it's possible somehow to instruct my linker to use only necessary elements from boost, not all of them? Thanks.

  I'm looking for a Python IDE that can help me easily locate and manage and use the libraries on my system (Ubuntu). Specifically Twisted. Code completion is important including the symbols I import. (I've so far had a look at PyDev as well as OpenKomodo, but while both offer code completion for default Python concepts, I wasn't able to get either to import Twisted into my project and was thus getting reference errors.) Usual disclaimer: I don't like EMACS or vi, please, nothing regarding those.
