I've got a whole page div #page, and inside that another div #container positioned absolute against #page. What I want to achieve, is to rotate image inside it 90deg, 180deg or 270deg but always move that image to top left corner of #container. I tried a little bit with transform-origin but I couldn't find any solution.

    I am using spring mvc in which i convert the arraylist into json string. I have one object 1) results.     As you'll no-doubt be able to tell momentarily, I have little knowledge of the programming world. That being said, here goes.... In this scenario, there's a Java-based game that has a map of the game world oriented in an X, Y coordinate tile system. Some of the grid tiles are player cities, some are non-player locations. The game runs inside a frame in the browser, the X, Y coordinate map feature is one optional view, and the entire map is not available to view at any one time. Each grid tile has an "Onclick" event and an "Onmouseover" event. The mouseover event is a tooltip, the click event is something called a "modal" that has information specific to that tile. What I'd like to find out is: How can I poll all the grid tiles' "modal" information using some kind of script or other auto-running polling feature?

  • Looping through Markers with Google Maps API v3 Problem

    I'm not sure why this isn't working. I don't have any errors, but what happens is, no matter what marker I click on, it clicks the 3rd one (which is the last one out of 4 markers. Array starts at 0, obviously) and shows the number "3", which is correct for THAT one, but I'm not clicking that one.     I'm using the following code to make cross domain request using $.getJSON, request completed but with errors, I cannot exactly detect what is the thrown error.     I am using ajax to insert a series of informational blocks via a loop. The blocks each have a title, and long description in them that is hidden by default. They function like an accordion, only showing one description at a time amongst all of the blocks. The problem is opening the description on the first block. I would REALLY like to do it with javascript right after the loop that is creating them is done. My server controller function render a json object as response: class DaysController < BaseController ... def the_days ... render :json => days end end In my javascript,I use the following code to get json response from server( that's from the_day function in controller) $.getJSON( url, {emp_id: emp_id}, function(data) { var result = data.response; alert(result) alert(data) }, "json" ); I use firefox browswer and checked with Firebug, in Firebug Net-XHR, I see the Get request is successful, and the response "days" is there. That's both request and response are successful. But I did not see the two alert window defined in the above $.getJSON function, why? Why I can not get the response "days" in $.getJSON function??

In Internet Explorer it's going through it and having no effect. I've put alerts at every line of the function and they all fire, even in IE, but the banner simply doesn't change. Is there any reason as to why this is so?

  • fancybox encoding issue

    i am using fancybox.net for my light boxes. it works great with images. but when i use iframe option i am having problems with encoding. i use hebrew and english and russian on my website. when i use UTF-8 on the iframe page i get squares instead of hebrew letters. when i change to iso-8859-8 i have hebrew but inverted, and russian goes: ??????????? any idea? my website is UTF-8 and every thing works great.. except fancybox :(

  • Draggble object hides outside content when wrapt in span

    I have a simple CSS problem In this site http://web.cinaird.se/pdf/test.htm I have a draggable images in the top content, I want a span that float on top of the image and for this I need a span containing the image and a span floating on top. So long no problem but now when i drag the image it hides outside the top content. so my question is as follows, how can I wrap a image and a floating span above and still be able to drag it outside the container. I hop I don't have missed something obvious and you have a quick solution, Thanks for your time.

  • Highlight DIV and dim the rest on mouseover

    I have a page full of DIVs which contain images. When I mouse over an image I can highlight it or add a shadow to accent it easily by adding class etc but is there a way to dim every other image instead. DIVs are loaded into DOM and I would like the DIV currently hovered over to retain 100% or 1 opacity and the rest of the DIVs on the page to fade to say 70% or 0.7 when one DIV is highlighted. Is this possible?
