  • Autohide scrollbars when not scrolling in a ListView

    - by synic
In the new official Twitter app, the scrollbars in all the ListViews the app uses are hidden unless the user is scrolling through the list. When you start scrolling, the scrollbars appear. When you stop, they fade out with an animation until they are gone completely. I can't seem to find anything in the documentation that indicates this as being a standard feature. Is this something included in the API? If not, anyone know how this might be done?

  • Iterator not accessible because of private inheritance

    - by Bo Tian
I've created a new class that composes std::deque by private inheritance, i.e, class B : private std::deque<A> { ... }; and in my source code I tried to use iterator of B, i.e., B::iterator it The compiler error is error C2247: 'std::deque<_Ty>::iterator' not accessible because 'B' uses 'private' to inherit from 'std::deque<_Ty>' So the question is, how can I make the iterator accessible?

  • NHibernate Many-to-Many Mapping not working

    - by ClutchDude
    I have a Nhibernate mapping file for a simple user/role mapping. Here are the mapping files: Users.hbm.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="Sample.Persistence" namespace="Sample.Persistence.Model"> <class name="User" table="Users"> <id name="UserKey"> <generator class="identity"/> </id> <property name="UserName" column="UserName" type="String" /> <property name="Password" column="Password" type="Byte[]" /> <property name="FirstName" column="FirstName" type="String" /> <property name="LastName" column="LastName" type="String" /> <property name="Email" column="Email" type="String" /> <property name="Active" column="Active" type="Boolean" /> <property name="Locked" column="Locked" type="Boolean" /> <property name="LoginFailures" column="LoginFailures" type="int" /> <property name="LockoutDate" column="LockoutDate" type="DateTime" generated="insert" /> <property name="Expired" column="Expired" type="Boolean" generated="insert"/> <set name="Roles" table="UsersRolesBridge" lazy="false"> <key column="UserKey" /> <many-to-many class="Role" not-found="exception" column="RoleKey" /> </set> </class> </hibernate-mapping> Role.hbm.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="Sample.Persistence" namespace="Sample.Persistence.Model"> <class name="Role" table="Roles"> <id name="RoleKey"> <generator class="identity"/> </id> <property name="Name" column="Name" type="String" /> <set name="Users" inverse="true" atable="UsersRolesBridge" lazy="false" > <key column="RoleKey" /> <many-to-many class="User" column="UserKey" /> </set> </class> </hibernate-mapping> I am able to retrieve roles for each user via NHibernate but when I go to save a new object, the roles are not saved in the Bridge table. The user is created and insert with no issues. I've checked that the Role collection, a field on the user, is being populated with the proper rolekey before the Session.Save() is called. There is no exception thrown as well.

  • One registry key for many products not deleted on uninstall

    - by NC1
    My company has many products, we want to create a registry key Software\$(var.Manufacturer)that will have all of our products if our customers have installed more than one (which is likely) I then want to have a secondary key for each of our products which get removed on uninstall but the main one does not. I have tried to achieve this like below but my main key gets deleted so all of my other products also get deleted from the registry. I know this is trivial but I cannot find an answer. <DirectoryRef Id="TARGETDIR"> <Component Id="Registry" Guid="*" MultiInstance="yes" Permanent="yes"> <RegistryKey Root="HKLM" Key="Software\$(var.Manufacturer)" ForceCreateOnInstall="yes"> <RegistryValue Type="string" Name="Default" Value="true" KeyPath="yes"/> </RegistryKey> </Component> </DirectoryRef> <DirectoryRef Id="TARGETDIR"> <Component Id="RegistryEntries" Guid="*" MultiInstance="yes" > <RegistryKey Root="HKLM" Key="Software\$(var.Manufacturer)\[PRODUCTNAME]" Action="createAndRemoveOnUninstall"> <RegistryValue Type="string" Name="Installed" Value="true" KeyPath="yes"/> <RegistryValue Type="string" Name="ProductName" Value="[PRODUCTNAME]"/> </RegistryKey> </Component> </DirectoryRef> EDIT: I have got my registry keys to stay using the following code. However they only all delete wen all products are deleted, not one by one as they need to. <DirectoryRef Id="TARGETDIR"> <Component Id="Registry" Guid="FF75CA48-27DE-430E-B78F-A1DC9468D699" Permanent="yes" Shared="yes" Win64="$(var.Win64)"> <RegistryKey Root="HKLM" Key="Software\$(var.Manufacturer)" ForceCreateOnInstall="yes"> <RegistryValue Type="string" Name="Default" Value="true" KeyPath="yes"/> </RegistryKey> </Component> </DirectoryRef> <DirectoryRef Id="TARGETDIR"> <Component Id="RegistryEntries" Guid="D94FA576-970F-4503-B6C6-BA6FBEF8A60A" Win64="$(var.Win64)" > <RegistryKey Root="HKLM" Key="Software\$(var.Manufacturer)\[PRODUCTNAME]" ForceDeleteOnUninstall="yes"> <RegistryValue Type="string" Name="Installed" Value="true" KeyPath="yes"/> <RegistryValue Type="string" Name="ProductName" Value="[PRODUCTNAME]"/> </RegistryKey> </Component> </DirectoryRef>

  • ServeletException, Property <variable name> not found

    - by k9yosh
What i'm trying to do is add a new variable to this previously created Managed Bean Hello.java and use it in my xhtml file binding to a text field. • When not to do maximum compression in png?

    - by user1444680
Intro When saving png images through GIMP, I've always used level 9 (maximum) compression, as I knew that it's lossless. Now I've to specify compression level when saving png format image through GD extension of PHP. Question Is there any case when I shouldn't compress PNG to maximum level? Like any compatibility issues? If there's no problem then why to ask user; why not automatically compress to max?

  • Custom SessionListener, name is not bound in this context, javax.naming.NameNotFoundException

    - by mehmet6parmak
Hi, I am trying to implement HttpSessionListener so that users of this listener can register implementation of ISessionEvent interface to session Events.code is below: public class MySessionListener implements HttpSessionListener{ @Resource ISessionEvent sessionEvent; public ISessionEvent getSessionEvent() { return sessionEvent; } public void setSessionEvent(ISessionEvent sessionEvent) { this.sessionEvent = sessionEvent; } @Override public void sessionCreated(HttpSessionEvent arg0) { sessionEvent.SessionCreated(arg0.getSession()); } @Override public void sessionDestroyed(HttpSessionEvent arg0) { sessionEvent.SessionDestroyed(arg0.getSession()); } } When user implement ISessionEvent and add as a bean, SessionCreated and SessionDestroyed functions of implementation will be called when these events occured. You can ask why dont you just write inside listeners methods, i dont i'm just trying. When i try the code above i got the following error message: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name com.mehmet6parmak.sessionlistener.MySessionListener is not bound in this Context at org.apache.naming.NamingContext.lookup(NamingContext.java:770) at org.apache.naming.NamingContext.lookup(NamingContext.java:153) at org.apache.catalina.util.DefaultAnnotationProcessor.lookupFieldResource(DefaultAnnotationProcessor.java:278) at org.apache.catalina.util.DefaultAnnotationProcessor.processAnnotations(DefaultAnnotationProcessor.java:187) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.listenerStart(StandardContext.java:4082) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.start(StandardContext.java:4630) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.start(ContainerBase.java:1045) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHost.start(StandardHost.java:785) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.start(ContainerBase.java:1045) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngine.start(StandardEngine.java:445) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService.start(StandardService.java:519) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardServer.start(StandardServer.java:710) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina.start(Catalina.java:581) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:597) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap.start(Bootstrap.java:289) at org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap.main(Bootstrap.java:414) Resource annotation causes the error but i could not resolve it. Thanks All... • Count of products NOT sold...per store, per day over the past month

    - by user1893510
I'm struggling with an interview question. 3 dimension tables (Product, Store and Date) and 1 fact table (Sales). The question asks for a T-SQL solution that will return the count of products not sold, per store, per day over the past month. At this point, my answer is futile but I've spent significant time trying to back into a solution, to no avail, and would like to close the loop. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

  • WPF button template alignment not setting correctly

    - by Dave Colwell
Hi guys, I have created a button template consisting of a border and a content presenter. A style is then wrapped around this template and applied to a button, when this button is used it is not carrying the values for horizontal and vertical alignment. In the designer the allignments are showing and the button is in the correct place, but when i run the program the button appears to have horizontal alignment = left and vertical alignment = right. Any ideas?
