  • DRUPAL: order exposed filter items, be carefully it is not that simple (I cannot user "Sort")

    hi, DRUPAL question. I'm using Views, with an exposed filter (Taxonomy). I've downloaded the "better exposed filter" module to display it as checkbox list. a Now, how can I order the tags in the filter list ? "Views Sort" is not the solution because I only can order articles but not the filter items!! I want to add an option (checkbox) for the customer to order the tags alphabetically or leave them in the default order. thanks

  • column resize issue in gridpanel

    I have a defect assigned to me which states that columns are difficult to resize on a grid. this appears to be true, the mouseover which triggers the col-resize cursor display is quite tiny. Is there a way to increase the "hot area" between colums in order to make the colum resize function more user friendly ?

  • Flash AS3 - XMLList - List items with number of times they occur

    I have an XMLList 'Keywords', which consists of about 30 XML items. I want to count the number of unique keywords in the List, and how often they occur. Then display the top 3 most occuring keywords. There's probably a simple sorting/count function to carry this out, however, i'm quite new to as3 so please forgive my naivety. Cheers.

    I'm using a WrapPanel to display variable height items in columns. The wrappanel has a constrained size. Is there an way to determine when the WrapPanel is 'full'? I will then page to another panel with an animation. I've looked at the ArrangeOverride of the items that are the panels children, but they always seem to be getting all the space they want. I need a way to determine when they begin getting clipped.

    Hi, in actionscript 3, what's the fastest way to dump your data (not from a file) into a bitmap for display? I have it working with setPixels and colored rects but that's way too slow/inefficient. Is there a way to load in the raw bytes or hijack the loader class to put in custom loader data? What would be the best/fastest--should I start writing a byte encoder?

After ensuring that the username and password are correct, I have the following simple code: $_SESSION['username'] = $myusername; $_SESSION['password'] = $mypassword; session_start(); Content that should display after logging in is not displayed.     Hi guys, I want to override the validation_errors() method of the form helper in CodeIgniter for one controller only, so that it will display a single error message (as a sentence in plain english) instead of the detailed line item summary. I've tried defining a validation_errors() function in my controller, which is what I usually do with Silverstripe's Sapphire framework, but this won't with CI. What's the best way to override methods for a case by case basis?

  • CSS layout problem on Firefox with filling space between end of left column and footer

    Basically, the left column is supposed to extend to the footer with the continuous red color. However, in Firefox on pages with lots of text, the column does not extend to the footer and leaves a large white gap--see site: http://library.luhs.org/JHSII/about.html I've tried readjusting the heights, creating the sticky footer, and other things I've read about on this site.     I want to have developers write some custom apps for a site in Javascript but I want to sandbox it so they can't do anything naughty like redirect the user, set the body display to none etc etc. I have a namespace in Javascript where all the functions they'll ever need exist in there so I was thinking to create a sandbox would be a matter of: with(Namespace) { //App code goes here where they can only access Namespace.* } How is easy is it to get around this and what other methods can be done? Would rather not have to moderate every submitted app.

    I'm using the fullcalendar jquery plugin, and would like to display 2009 and 2011 in the nextYear and prevYear buttons. For exmaple: 2009 May 2010 2011 I know I can put static text on the buttons like this: buttonText: { prevYear: '2009', nextYear: '2011' }, But I would like those years to change, depending on the year that the calendar is currently viewing. There's documentation about 'year' here: http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/docs/current_date/ but I don't know how to get that 'year' property. Any examples would be appreciated, Thanks, --Nate

  • Reading URL Anchor on IE

    Hi, I've got a page full of links to another page with anchors on the end (like this: index.html#anchor). On the page they point to, I have a script that is supposed to read where the anchor points to in order to display something. On firefox it works perfectly, But I've noticed that IE seems to remove the #anchor from the end of the url, so the script can't grab the text. Is there a way around this, without any server side code?
