  • Problems compiling libjingle/gtk+-2.0 for Mac OS X

    Hi All, I'm trying to compile libjingle on Mac OSX Snow Leopard. The INSTALL file said to './configure', 'make' and 'make install', as usual. But make fails for me. Initially it gave some messages indicating that I didn't have pkg-config installed (I guess OSX doesn't come with it installed?), so I downloaded pkg-config from http://pkgconfig.freedesktop.org/releases/ Now I get this message: Package gtk+-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtk+-2.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'gtk+-2.0' found I tried to install gtk by using the script at SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gtk-osx/ (this is the website pointed to by the gtk website) Running the script didn't really seem to do anything, here is the output: $./gtk-osx-build-setup.sh Checking out jhbuild (2.27.3) from git... From git://git.gnome.org/jhbuild * tag 2.27.3 -> FETCH_HEAD Installing jhbuild... Installing jhbuild configuration... Installing gtk-osx moduleset files... Done. $ And I still get that error message about "Package gtk+-2.0 not found" while make-ing libjingle. Help will be appreciated, thanks!

  • Upgrade from .NET 2.0 to .NET 3.5 problems

    I’m trying to upgrade our solution from VS2005 .NET 2.0 to VS2008 .NET 3.5. I converted the solution using VS2008 conversion wizard. All the projects (about 50) remained targeting to .NET Framework 2.0., moreover if I’m changing target framework manually for one of the projects, all referenced dll (i.e. System, System.Core, System.Data, etc. are still pointing to Framework 2.0. The only way to completely change targeting framework I found is to remove these references and refer them again using proper version of framework. Doing it manually is not best choice I think. 50 projects ~ 10 references each ~ 0.5 minutes for changing each reference is about 5 hours to complete. Am I missing something? Are there any other ways of converting full solution from .NET 2.0 to .NET 3.5? Thank you.

    Has anyone else seen or heard of any issues with NSTask in 10.6? This code worked fine yesterday, and is not working today. NSTask *task = [converter task]; [task waitUntilExit]; NSLog(@"Task did complete"); The task does what it's supposed to do (I checked the output and it's fine), but the program will wait indefinitely at the waitUntilExit method. I have a few unit tests that use similar code, they all had passed previously, but as of yesterday, they are no longer working.

Any advice, how can I get my selector rel value?

    I'm having some difficulties in prolog, I'm trying to write a predicate that will return all paths between two cities, although at the moment it returns the first path it finds on an infinite loop. Not sure where I'm going wrong but I've been trying to figure this out all day and I'm getting nowhere.   • Modal dialog focus problems on WPF application

    Hi, I have a problem with my wpf application where a modal dialog will appear behind the main application causing it to hang. It is very inconsistent, where most of the time the pop-up works correctly and is shown in front but occasionally it will pop-up behind, which stops any interaction with it. I can still close the dialog using the taskbar if this happens. I have noticed that it generally occurs when lots of other applications are open and the taskbar is full. Also, I am working with two screens and the problem only occurs on the screen with the taskbar - very wierd! The dialog is a window control, which contains an injected usercontrol as it's data context.   • Parallel For Loop - Problems when adding to a List - Possible .Net Bugs

    I am having some issues involving Parallel for loops and adding to a List. The problem is, the same code may generate different output at different times. I have set up some test code below. In this code, I create a List of 10,000 int values. 1/10th of the values will be 0, 1/10th of the values will be 1, all the way up to 1/10th of the values being 9. After setting up this List, I setup a Parallel for loop that iterates through the list. If the current number is 0, I add a value to a new List. After the Parallel for loop completes, I output the size of the list. The size should always be 1,000. Most of the time, the correct answer is given. However, I have seen 3 possible incorrect outcomes occur: The size of the list is less than 1,000 An IndexOutOfRangeException occurs @ doubleList.Add(0.0); An ArgumentException occurs @ doubleList.Add(0.0); The message for the ArgumentException given was: Destination array was not long enough. Check destIndex and length, and the array's lower bounds. What could be causing the errors? Is this a .Net bug? Is there something I can do to prevent this from happening? Please try the code for yourself. If you do not get an error, try it a few times.   • c++ webservice having problems with Mozilla Firefox browser

    Hi , About Problem:- We have a webservice written in c++.And we use cgi scripts in HTML pages to run our own exe which will output HTML. With IE i am not seeing any problem. But With Mozilla FireFox 3.0 there is error showing up as " You have chosen to open gefebt.exe which is a : Application from http:\3.212.219.180\test Would you like to save this file" Also i did some investigation :- i have created a virtual directory using IIS where when i click hyperlink i have made gefebt.exe to execute. With IIS there is no problem untill Execute Permissions is set to "Scripts and Executables" . If i select scripts i could see the same message in IE and mozilla plugin. At the same time i not seeing any difference with the code of Webservice. The way we are reffering the executable in HTML is href=gefebt.exe?xyz.bclInvoke xyz.bcl - I have also tries with IFrames and frames .

    Hi, I have some issues with my email -body when i send mails I'm using php in my site. My website is a spanish site , when ever i send a mail some special characters are comming in that mail. Always there is an ! mark in that mail, that too in the same place below is the code which i'm using and an email which i got.   • Update count every second causing massive memory problems

  • Problems with XAML WPF 4.0 Editor in VS2010

    Wondering if anybody else has found some very odd behaviour with the XAML/WPF 4 editor in VS2010. This only occurs if the project is using .NET 4. Whenever I tried to open a XAML document for editing, the window would appear to open for a split second and then vanish, but VS2010 would still list the window as open. The fault was eventually traced to having the "Reuse current document window, if saved" option under "Documents" in the "Environment" options checked. Once this was unchecked XAML 4 files opened as expected. As I said, this only appears to occur on projects targeted at .NET Framework 4 - those targeted at 3.5 worked without a problem, and the "Reuse current document window, if saved" appears to work fine on other files.

    I´m developing a webpage that contains two <p> tags (program and events), that shows two different contents. When I click the program button (it´s a <p> tag), it´s ok, it shows the table on the div´s. But, when I click the events button, again it shows the program <p> tag contents, and I want to show the events table content. I´ve read de solution for this question on this site, but not happens, when I change my JS file, the content of both <p> tags disapears. Can somebody help me?

  • jquery child selector problems

Using jquery, I'm trying to make it so that when you click "li.parent_folder" "ul.submenu" disappears and then reappears when you click "li.parent_folder" again. I can get it to do this but I have a problem. When I click on the "li.parent_folder" all the "ul.submenu" disapear instead of just the one that is the child of it. What would be the correct jquery code to accomplish this? (Oh, I'm using jquery ui also in this project What I have right now is this: $('li.parent_folder').click(function() { $('li.parent_folder ul.submenu').hide(); });

  • Jquery cross-fade rollover problems in IE7

    I built some cross fade rollovers in IE7 using this single image technique: http://jqueryfordesigners.com/image-cross-fade-transition/ It works by placing the rollover image in the background and fading the original image state when the user rollovers the image. IE7 hates it. The rollover state shows up directly below the original image. You can check it out here: http://hardtopdepot.com/dev/inner.html It should be pretty obvious in IE7 but the add to cart buttons are suppossed to be Jquery rollovers. I am by no means a JS expert so Im not sure how to go about solving this problem, any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks-
