  • SFTP not supported error with PHP & cURL

    I followed the advice from this Stack Overflow question thread, but I keep hitting a snag. I am receiving the following error message: Unsupported protocol: sftp Here is my code: $ch = curl_init(); if(!$ch) { $error = curl_error($ch); die("cURL session could not be initiated.     Hi, I'm trying to send a Python list in to client side (encoded as JSON), this is the code snippet which I have written: array_to_js = [vld_id, vld_error, False] array_to_js[2] = True jsonValidateReturn = simplejson.dumps(array_to_js) return HttpResponse(jsonValidateReturn, mimetype='application/json') So my question is how to access it form client side, can I access it like this: jsonValidateReturn[0] or how I assign a name to the returned JSON array in order to access it?

  • C++ Why isn't call by reference needed for strcpy()

    I have a homework assignment with a number of questions. One is asking why the strcpy() function doesn't need the call by reference operator for CStrings. I've looked through the book numerous times and I can't, for the life of me, find the answer. Can anyone help explain this to me? It is an array of sorts so I would think you would need the call by reference.

    I have a 2D array declared like this: int arr[2][2]={ {1,2},{3,4}}; Now if I do: int ** ptr=(int**) arr; and: cout<<**ptr; I am getting a segmentation fault (using g++-4.0). Why so? Shouldn't it be printing the value 1 (equal to arr[0][0])?

  • Simple stream read/write question in java

    Hi, I'm trying to upload a file via URLConnection, but i need to read/write it as a binary file without any encoding changes. So i've tried to read byte[] array from FileInputStream, but now i have an issue. The PrintWriter object i use for outputing to the server does not allow me to do writer.write(content) (where content is of type byte[]). How can i fix this? Or is there another way to quickly copy binary data from a FileInputStream to a PrintWriter? Thank you

    Is there a good reason to put parent::__construct($config) in the construct of a CakePHP data source I am developing? I see it being used in some of the data sources found in https://github.com/cakephp/datasources/blob/master/models/datasources/amazon_associates_source.php but not sure why. I could just do private $_config = array(); function construct($config){ $this->_config = $config; } and access my $config the same way.
