  • Array returning Null values

    - by Nick Gibson
Dunno why it is...heres the coding for it. http://pastebin.org/301343 I know theres a lot of repetitiveness in the coding...but its because the arrays were retuning null so I got tired of messing with them. Everything works until it reaches line 224, which returns null values.

  • didFinishLaunchingWithOptions not called

    - by user1256477
I'm having trouble enabling push notifications. with this code I try to enable the notification: - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions { [[UIApplication sharedApplication] registerForRemoteNotificationTypes:(UIRemoteNotificationType)(UIRemoteNotificationTypeBadge | UIRemoteNotificationTypeSound | UIRemoteNotificationTypeAlert)]; return YES; } It doesnt work, so I added a breakpoint in the line [[UIApplication sharedApplication] registerForRemoteNotificationTypes:(UIRemoteNotificationType)(UIRemoteNotificationTypeBadge | UIRemoteNotificationTypeSound | UIRemoteNotificationTypeAlert)]; But it seems this part of the code is never execute. why is this not working?

    - by Li Li
Hi, I have a rdf file (file.trp) in n-triples format, where each line is: "subject predicate object ." I tried to use rdf_load in semweb/rdf_db to load it into memory, but failed. Here is what I tried: ?- rdf_load('file.trp'). ?- rdf_load('file.trp', [format(triples]). the manual says it supports xml and triples. But it only loads rdf xml files. How can I load such rdf triple file? Thanks, Li

  • VS2010: New and improved Intellisense?

    - by George
In VB.NET type this on a new line: DateAdd( Shouldn't a dropdown picklist of enum values appear? It used to! I miss it! Of course, this is just one example where an enum pick list does not appear where it did before. Can anyone defend this or is it a bug?

  • C++ code generation with Python

    - by norapinephrine
Can anyone point me to some documentation on how to write scripts in Python (or Perl or any other Linux friendly script language) that generate C++ code from XML or py files from the command line. I'd like to be able to write up some xml files and then run a shell command that reads these files and generates .h files with fully inlined functions, e.g. streaming operators, constructors, etc.

  • How to change the default "double click" action of a web service in a class library (VS2010)?

    - by JL
I have a web service defined as follows, residing in a class library: [WebService(Namespace = "http://comp.com/")] [WebServiceBinding(ConformsTo = WsiProfiles.BasicProfile1_1)] // To allow this Web Service to be called from script, using ASP.NET AJAX, uncomment the following line. // [System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptService] public class SendingItems_new : System.Web.Services.WebService When I double click it, instead of going to code view, it shows the design view. I NEVER use design view, so how can I get it to open up code view instead, its very annoying having to flick from design view each time. Thank you

  • Renaming table in rails

    - by Tommy
I want to rename a table... (any table.) I tried this line of code: ActiveRecord::ConnectionAdapters::SchemaStatements.rename_table(old_name, new_name) Here's the weird thing. I know I got it working the first time, but now I get this error: undefined method `rename_table' for ActiveRecord::ConnectionAdapters::SchemaStatements:Module Was there something I need to set? Or am I going blind here.. Thanks!

  • UINavigationController's back button disappears?

    - by QAD
I notice something strange happens to one of my view controller: the back button disappears, yet it's possible to go back to previous view controller by tapping the top left corner (i.e where the button should reside). In my entire file there's no line that set self.navigationItem.hidesBackButton to YES; also NSLog prints 0 as self.navigationItem.hidesBackButton's value in viewDidLoad. This occurs in both the simulator and real device. Any ideas?

  • Java API Method Run Times

    - by Mike
Is there a good resource to get run times for standard API functions? It's somewhat confusing when trying to optimize your program. I know Java isn't made to be particularly speedy but I can't seem to find much info on this at all. Example Problem: If I am looking for a certain token in a file is it faster to scan each line using string.contains(...) or to bring in say 100 or so lines putting them to a local string them performing contains on that chunk.

  • Why does this crash: stringByAppendingFormat

    - by Emil
Hey. My code crashes at this function (at the stringByAppendingFormat: with error objc_msgSend() selector name: stringByAppendingFormat). This is that line: // imagesPath = ...iPhone Simulator/4.0/Applications/NUMBERS/Documents/images UIImage *image = [[UIImage alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:[imagesPath stringByAppendingFormat:@"/%d.png", [[self.postsArrayID objectAtIndex:row] intValue]]]; Could it have something to do with the retaining of objects? Thanks :)
