• looking for a javascript engine

  i'm looking for a js engine to that I can (easily) expose C/C++ functions, classes etc. The API should allow changing exposed values from within C++ (by storing some kind of pointer or reference to an object inside js or so...). I've considered using google's v8 but I'm new to it and don't know whether it will satisfy my requirements. Can someone tell me whether I should stick to v8 or try something else?

• Android TimePicker hour field disappears after orientation change

  I am using a TimePicker under API 1.5 and when the orientation is changed on my device (a stock G1 running 1.6 - though NOT on the 1.5/1.6 emulator), the hour field goes blank. It still remembers the hour, it just doesn't show it. Is there any workaround for this? • Silverlight 4: Any touch library that supports gestures & touch events?

  Silverlight provides only Touch.FrameReported event and doesnt provide any events for the UIElements like it does for mouse events(ex: MouseDown, MouseUp). Is there any touch library available for the silverlight which provides these touch events and supports gestures. Google did not help me much or may be my search terms are not correct. I tried ShellExecute(self.WindowHandle,'open','www.google.com',nil,nil, SW_HIDE); and I get my chrome browser open but not hidden, and it opens a tab not a new window, also tried with TStartupInfo with the same results. Is there another way to achieve this?
