  • Why isn't Chrome displaying my div?

    If i have a function api that expects a 14 digit input and returns a 6 digit output. I basically define the input as a const char *. would that be the correct and safe thing to do? also why would I not want to just do char * which I could but it seems more prudent to use const char * in that case especially since its an api that i am providing. so for different input values I generate 6 digit codes.

    We just upgraded from MonoRails 1 to MonoRails 2.0, and want to use the CombineJS as seen here: http://erichauser.net/2009/01/27/javascript-compression-for-monorail/ In Firebug Net, it loads as http://www.domain.com/MonoRail/Files/BuiltJS.rails?name=deflayout&version=8204059377542922030 But it has must-revalidate in the cache-control: Cache-Control public, must-revalidate, max-age=259200 How can I get rid of that?     How can I find where the error occurs? In C language, the return value means what error occurs, such as failure to open file or memory allocation. There is no information where the error occurs. For example, function 'foo' calls A,B,C,D. If foo returns an error value, it might be return value of A or B or C or D. I cannot find what function returns error. I have to run debugger or add some codes to find what function returns error.

  • Add Page Tab dialog not working

    I was always using the direct Add to Page Tab URL like this: http://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=238557109577754&redirect_uri=http://www.facebook.com And today that URL gives me "Sorry, something went wrong.". Did something changed on Facebook side? Or is it a temporary bug? Note that I have tried other redirect_uri params, such as the URL of the location where the app is hosted. It does always result in the same error.

  • Text extra aliased(jagged) in IE - looks terrible - but OK in FF and Chrome

    I am building a website - http://www.efficaxdevelopment.com As you can see when you load the page(in IE) the text on the page that isn't an image or the menu looks terrible, while in FF and Chrome the text looks fine. you can view the source on the page and the css is here http://www.efficaxdevelopment.com/styles/mainstyle.css Also, the sliding bar over the menu appears a few pixels left of where it appears in FF and IE. Any ideas?

It might be used like this: echo get_port_from_protocol("http"); // 80 As a last resort, I suppose I could write something to parse through /etc/services (assuming I only need to run under UNIX-like operating systems). But surely there must be something built-in to PHP, no?

  • hide iframe scrollbars

    I'm trying to have scrolls on an iframe without the scrollbars showing up. I've tried so many codes, I've tried this too, I don't know if I just mess up but my mind is really all over the place trying to figure this out. I've tried overflow:hidden but that just disables the scrolling of the page. I'd still want the texts to scroll without showing the scroll bars. I need help I've been trying to figure this out for days
