  • Trying to pass variable from 1 Function to Another to Put in Array within same Model

    Ok, that sounds really confusing. What I’m trying to do is this. I’ve got a function that uploads/resizes photos to the server. It stores the paths in the DB. I need to attach the id of the business to the row of photos. Here’s what I have so far: function get_bus_id() { $userid = $this->tank_auth->get_user_id(); $this->db->select('b.id'); $this->db->from ('business AS b'); $this->db->where ('b.userid', $userid); $query = $this->db->get(); if ($query->num_rows() > 0) { return $query->result_array(); } That get’s the id of the business.   • Phpmyadmin mysql foreign key help

    Hey guys i'm using phpmyadmin (php & mysql) and i'm having alot of trouble linking the tables using foreign keys. I'm getting negative values for the field countyId (which is the foriegn key). However it is linking to my other table fine and it's cascading fine. So when I go to add data there will be a drop box for the CountyId and the vlaues will look something like this, " -1 1- " Here is my alter statement, ALTER TABLE Baronies ADD FOREIGN KEY (CountyId) REFERENCES Counties (CountyId) ON DELETE CASCADE

  • xdebug profiler output strange results

    I'm using xdebug to profile some PHP code on Windows and using WinCacheGrind/Webgrind to analyse the output, but I'm getting some strange results. Specifically, the total cumulative time for a single method is greater than 100%! How is it possible that more time is spent executing this function's code and all the functions that it calls than the total time it took to execute the whole script? What am I missing here?

But i have some questions regarding mkdir and file_exists Do mkdir and file_exists works good for pass-protected folders ? and would i get any error while uploading file to that folder ?   • CSS Unwanted padding in IE using floats.

    It's been a long day of designing and I ran into a problem today. The website www.dcninc.com/newtest/security_testing.php is a new design I'm working on at work right now. If you view it in Firefox you will notice there is no padding on the 2 right boxes (I did that on purpose to trouble shoot my problem) However if you view that same page in IE, it adds padding to the right side.
