• How to install port versions of perl modules for perl5.14 in freebsd 9.0

  Trying to use perl5.14 on Freebsd with port based p5-modules. uname -impr 9.0-RELEASE amd64 amd64 ALTQ delete all installed ports, start with a clean system # pkg_delete -a # rm -rf /var/db/pkg /var/db/ports /usr/local installing portmaster, checking /etc/make.conf (here is only WITHOUT_X11=YES). Now installing perl. # portmaster -g --force-config lang/perl5.14 # perl -v This is perl 5, version 14, subversion 2 (v5.14.2) built for amd64-freebsd-multi Now perl modules from the ports, # portmaster -g devel/p5-Moose #install Moose and its deps check with pkg_info and got zilion errors like: # pkg_info pkg_info: corrupted record (pkgdep line without argument), ignoring dpendecy check with portmaster - showing dependecies on perl5.12 #portmaster --check-depends Checking p5-Class-C3-0.24 ===>>> lang/perl5.12 is listed as a dependency ===>>> but there is no installed version ===>>> Delete this dependency data? y/n [n] when tried # perl-after-upgrade -f got: Fixed 0 packages (0 files moved, 0 files modified) In short: i got installed Moose into /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.2/ but all its dependencies into /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.12.4/ Yes, it is possible fix this with: # portmaster p5- what reinstall all installed p5-packages once again, now correctly for the 5.14 but it is terrible installing them twice... Questions: What is the correct way install p5-MODULES from ports with installed perl5.14 in an clean system? How to fix wrong dependency data on perl5.12 without the need install and reinstall them again What i'm doing wrong? Ps: know perlbrew and/or Local::lib - but for this case - want port versions.

• Facebook writing on a wall problem - retrieves only null value.

  hi all friends, I am making a game application in that I want to pass my score on wall of face book. I've completed all the things (the log in and message passing part) but when I passes the score via global variable, I am getting only null as a value and not the score that I want. Is there any way to pass data or string to Face book and write on a wall?   Hi all, I've done a few searches and couldn't find an answer. I'm trying to update the status of my business's "Application Page" (not personal page, and not "Fan Page") on Facebook. Two questions for the community: 1) How to update the "Application Page" status programmatically? I found the answer for a "Fan Page" here (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2097665/authorizing-a-facebook-fan-page-for-status-updates). Does anyone think it will work for an "Application Page" as well? 2) How to update the "Application Page" status through a third party service? Ideally, I'd like to post to one location and have it show up a) on my business twitter status and b) on my Facebook "Application Page" status.   Hello I think I'm missing a very silly detail but the logout funtion of facebook connect is not working for me. I followed the steps posted in this answer by Typeoneerror but I cant get it to work. This is my logout javascript function function logout() { FB.init("API_KEY", "/xd_receiver.htm"); FB.Connect.logoutAndRedirect("/logout/url"); } When I click on it - nothing happens - In the browser status bar - For a second I see a message which says waiting for facebook - but I continue to stay on the same page. It does not redirect me nor does it log me out of facebook either. Just to see if the function is being called - I removed FB.init call from the function and then I get the error Error Message: 'FB.Connect' is null or not an object Any suggestions on how to debug this. • Facebook: "URL could not be liked because it has been blocked" error in iOS app

  I'm working on an iOS app that allows the user to like a Facebook page within the app. I've implemented this using FacebookLikeView. During the course of testing this functionality, I've liked and unliked the same page multiple times. Unfortunately, this seems to have triggered Facebook's spam detection. Now, when trying to like a page using the like button displayed by FacebookLikeView, the following error is presented: "URL could not be liked because it has been blocked". Based on reports of the same problem found by searching the web, I've filled out this form to request that Facebook remove the block. However, I've received no response from them. I'm not sure how to proceed. Has anyone else run into this issue and successfully solved it?

  Hi, When I do a GET with my browser (already logged-in at Facebook): https://graph.facebook.com/me/home?access_token={token} the results are different than doing the same via a FB app using Facebook C# SDK. Specifically, what the API is not returning are feeds posted by other applications. Why can be this happening? Can't an application retrieve updates from other applications even if it has the read_stream permission? I even requested for additional permissions: read_stream,user_activities,friends_activities,friends_likes,user_likes,read_requests but nothing has changed. What I need is to get ALL and the same stories an user would see at his FB news feed.

  I am newbie in creating apps for Facebook and I would like to ask you about a few things. I created my first app, in the settings I set up the domain URL, canvas URL, etc... when I load the app via apps.facebook.com/my_app_name the app is working, but also when I visit the page via the canvas URL I configured. Is there any way to only allow access to the app only when loaded inside the Facebook chrome? Also, in the app that I made are some links, buttons, etc. and when you hover over them with the mouse you can see my own domain in the status bar below. Is there a way to change that?

  I'm completely new and inept with ubuntu. I've recently purchased a chromebook 14 by Hewlett-Packard and today find out how to install Crouton for it. My goal is to be able to use steam on the chromebook for small time-killing games. My issue is that no matter what kind of application I attempt to install, it always tells me it has "broken dependencies" I also tried installing debian versions of "Firefox", "Chrome", "Opera" as well as "Cave Story+" from humble bundle. I've tried to do the sudo apt-get install -f as well as loads of other commands but nothing works What can I do, I can post any specs you need and am ready to use another way to get to steam such as ChrUbuntu if my issue is unfixable

• Facebook JS SDK FB.logout() doesn't terminate user session

  I'm attempting to log a user out of facebook with the Facebook JS SDK, however calling: FB.logout(function(response){ console.log(response); }); returns: response.status == "connected" And only after refreshing the page does the SDK realize that the session has ended. Anyone know what could be causing this behavior? This code previously worked in my application and has recently started behaving this way. Another example using FireBug:
