  • Jasper Reports - Add one day to a Date Parameter

    I'm creating a Jasper report that includes the following parameters: DATESTART (Date) DATEEND (Date) These parameters indicate a date range for a field called DATECREATED (Timestamp) which includes times. I would like the date range to be INCLUSIVE, that is, if I filter for "Jan 1, 2009" to "Jan 31, 2009", any DATECREATED value on Jan 31, 2009 (such as "Jan 31, 2009 15:00") will be included in the report. When I used Crystal Reports in the past, I used the DATEADD function to create a filter expression like the following: {DATECREATED} >= {DATESTART} and {DATECREATED} < DATEADD("d", 1, {DATEEND}) (I realize that this isn't syntactically correct, but you get the idea.) Is there any way to do something similar in Jasper Reports?

    Hi, I am trying to set default value in DateField using the following statement DateField dateField = new DateField("Birthday:", 567993600, DateField.DATE | DateField.FIELD_LEFT); but when I run my application it shows me 7 Jan 1970 instead of 1 Jan 1988. I checked the time stamp on http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htm and it shows me correct expected date which is, "Fri, 01 Jan 1988 00:00:00 GMT" I am using 8900 simulator and my date time is correct showing today's date 31 Dec 2010 in date time under options folder.     Hi there, While looking into alternatives for Dropbox I explored the idea of a NAS. It would be easy to hook up the NAS to a broadband connection and have the users access the files. However, - The data needs to be encrypted on the NAS itself (in case it gets stolen). - The connection to the NAS needs to be secure (VPN?). - The drive needs to appear as a drive under windows (so no https). Test install crashed and left lots of debris: service shows in the list of services but will not start ('Referenced file does not exist'), is impossible to uninstall ('Action valid only for services that are installed') and is not shown in the Programs and Features aplet. records... i am not able to find any solution /control using which i an do it easily. coz my field's value is in attribute named "Value" when in the examples i saw its between opening and closing tag.. i have 2 methods to do so. 1 . i make one page to edit a single record and pass id of record to that page on editing. open the page in iframe on same page to edit and in page_load get data from database for id passed and fill it in control. 2 . i store xml on server as physical file and use it in page i opened in iframe to edit the record. so i am confused... can anybody please guide me that what shpould i do to let user provide interface to edit this xml data/user profile ?

  • Can any postfix guru assist me determine how emails are still being sent via my server from unauthorized sources?

    Hi all, I'm getting a little concerned as I run a small server hosting a number of websites and manage the email for a few dozen people. Just recently though I've had a couple of notifications from spamcop alerting me that spam has been sent from my server, and when I have a look over the logs from time to time I can indeed see that there are many repeated attempts of mail being sent from my server. Most of the time it gets knocked back from the destination servers but sometimes its getting through. Unfortunately I'm not linux or postfix expert, I can get by but had though I had my machine locked down quite securely, I don't allow relaying, when I check the online DNS/MX tools they tend to report my server as being OK so I'm not sure where to take it now and hoping someone might be able to throw me a few pointers.   • Apache22 on FreeBSD - Starts, does not respond to requests

    Hey folks! I'm running Apache 2.2.17 with the peruser MPM on FreeBSD 8.2-RC1 on Amazon's EC2 (so it's XEN). It was installed from ports. My problem is that, although Apache is running, listening for, and accepting connections, it doesn't actually respond to any or show them in the log at all. If I telnet to the port it's listening on and type out an HTTP request: GET / HTTP/1.1 Host: asdfasdf And hit enter a couple of times, it just sits there... Nothing. No response requesting with a browser either. There doesn't appear to be anything helpful in the error log: [Sun Jan 09 16:56:24 2011] [warn] Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache] [Sun Jan 09 16:56:25 2011] [notice] Digest: generating secret for digest authentication ... I also tried uninstalling apache22-peruser-mpm and just installing straight apache22... Still no luck. I tried removing all of the LoadModule lines from httpd.conf and just re-enabled the ones that were necessary to parse the config. Ended up with only the following loaded: root:/usr/local/etc/apache22# /usr/local/sbin/apachectl -M Loaded Modules: core_module (static) mpm_peruser_module (static) http_module (static) so_module (static) authz_host_module (shared) log_config_module (shared) alias_module (shared) Syntax OK root:/usr/local/etc/apache22# Same results. Apache is definitely what's listening on port 80: root:/usr/local/etc/apache22# sockstat -4 | grep httpd root httpd 43789 3 tcp4 6 *:80 *:* root httpd 43789 4 tcp4 *:* *:* root:/usr/local/etc/apache22# And I know it's not a firewall issue as there is nothing running locally, and connecting from the local box to 127.0.0.1:80 results in the same issue. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Why it would be doing this? I've exhausted all of my debugging expertise. :/ Thanks for any suggestions!

    Hello, I was trying to remove write permissions on an entire directory, and I used the incorrect command: chmod 644 -r sites/default I meant to type chmod -R 644 sites/default The result was this: chmod: cannot access `644': No such file or directory $ ls -als sites total 24 4 drwxr-xr-x 5 user group 4096 Jan 11 10:54 . 4 drwxrwxr-x 14 user group 4096 Jan 11 10:11 .. 4 drwxr-xr-x 4 user group 4096 Jan 5 01:25 all 4 d-w------- 3 user group 4096 Jan 11 10:43 default 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 user group 1849 Apr 15 2010 example.sites.php I fixed the permissions on the default folder with $ chmod 644 sites/default But, the following ls shows a all the files with red backgrounds and question marks. I can't access any files unless I am root. $ ls -als sites/default total 0 ? ?--------- ? ? ? ? ? . ? ?--------- ? ? ? ? ? .. ? ?--------- ? ? ? ? ? default.settings.php ? ?--------- ? ? ? ? ? files ? ?--------- ? ? ? ? ? settings.php When I log in as root, I can edit all of the files, and their permissions appear correctly. I do not know how to undo the damage caused by using -r with chmod instead of -R. Any Suggestions?

  • What is the target color profile in Image.FromFile?

    I am curious what the useEmbeddedColorManagement parameter in System.Drawing.Image.FromFile actually does. This parameter directory corresponds to a GDI+ parameter in the same method of the same class. So debugging .NET source does not lead anywhere. If my understanding of color profiles is correct, a color profile is basically a mapping which describes how particular RGB triples (or CMYK or something else) map into the so called Profile Connection Space (CIELAB or CIEXYZ). Now, if I open an image with embedded color in .NET setting useEmbeddedColorManagement to true, my experience is I get an image whose RGB values are not exactly the same as the original values in the file, i.e. is transformed. Since the original image was an RGB and the new is also an RGB, there must have been a transformation from the embedded color profile to a Profile Connection Space and the back to RGB. The thing which I don’t understand is what is the target color system? Is it some default Windows color profile? Is the current monitor profile? Is it sRGB?

  • Change UITableViewCell Height on Orientation Change

    I have a UITableView with cells containing variable-height UILabels. I am able to calculate the minimum height the label needs to be using sizeWithFont:constrainedToSize:lineBreakMode:, which works fine when the table view is first loaded. When I rotate the table view the cells become wider (meaning there are fewer lines required to display the content). Is there any way I can have the height of the cells redetermined by the UITableView during the orientation change animation or immediately before or after? Thank you.

  • Exposing.NET assembly as COM 101

    I have trouble to expose a .NET assembly in COM. It seems that I must be missing some basic step because I think I followed all tutorials and documentation I found as well as common sense, but still when I do (in a test VBScript): Set o = CreateObject("MyLib.MyClass") It keeps saying that the object cannot be created. Here are the steps I have done: I have simple one method dummy class with no attributes. The class is in a class library which has "Make assembly COM-visible" ticked in Visual Studio. The class library is signed. The DLL is registered via RegAsm.exe with the /codebase parameter (I don’t want / cannot add the DLL to GAC). Just to be sure, I tried to copy the library to the same directory as the test VBScript, but it does not help. Edit: I should have mentioned that the I can instantiate the class in COM if I put the DLL into GAC.

    What are the most common reasons for an outlet (a class property) not being set during a bundle load? I'm sorry; most likely I'm not using the correct terms. It's my first steps with iPhone OS development and Objective-C, so please bear with me. Here is more details. Basically, I'm trying to create a table view based form with a fixed number of static rows. I have one nib file with one table view, three table cells and all connections set as in the example. The problem is that the corresponding cell properties in my controller are never initialised. I get an exception in cellForRowAtIndexPath complaining that the returned cell is nil: UITableView dataSource must return a cell from tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath. I tried to move them after the table view, but it did not make any difference. Are table cells in some way special? Do I need to set some flag or some property on them in the nib file? I was under the impression that all classes (views, windows, controllers …) listed in a nib file are simply instantiated (and linked using the provided connections). Could it possibly be some memory issue? The cell properties in my controller are not defined in any special way.

  • Determining Screen Positions in Objective-C (NSScreen)

    Using [NSScreen screens] I'm able to get all of the screens attached to the computer and their sizes, however I'm trying to find out their positions relative to each other (like in Arrangement in the Display preferences). Is there a way to do this? I've looked online and through the class references on Apple's developer site and found nothing. Thank you.
