• jQuery: random active tab??

  Hey there- I need to have a tab interface that has a different "active" tab every time the page loads. There will be advertiser content in each of the 4 tabs, so this is a way to keep things "fair". Basically I don't want to show the tag in the testimonial viewed in a block on the front page but rather I do want it to show on another page.   A widget I'm using modifies an HTML textarea element. I need to know when that element has been modified and preferably I'd like to actually hide that element as well. I'm using jQuery, so I naturally tried the $('#textarea_id').change() event. But it's never triggered because I guess the textarea never loses focus. Does this variable get stored in RAM,effectively using up all the available memory and slowing down the rest of the system?   Is it possible somehow using mod_rewrite change the url from http://www.mywebsite.com/company/123/reviews to http://www.mywebsite.com/company-123/reivews? It's not a redirect. The problem is that the real path is the first one and I need my browser to display the second path. So when the user goes to company-123/reviews the content of the page is displayed from company/123/reviews. Thank you.

• How can I make a child window topmost?

  Hi, I have a parent form, with some child windows (not forms - just windows, for example label controls) inside it. Under certain circumstances, I want one of those child windows to be drawn "above" the others, to display a message over the entire main form. I've tried setting HWND_TOPMOST and HWND_TOP on the child windows, but it doesn't seem to have any effect at all. Am I doing something wrong, or do HWND_TOPMOST and HWND_TOP only work on forms, as opposed to controls within forms? Thanks.

EDIT: Okay great suggestions, however when I hover over the "home button" now the stuff in the float tweeks out. However, when I work in the Java perspective, and I right-click any file in the project explorer, the "Team" context menu does not display the perforce options to check-out, sync etc. It only has the options "Apply patch" and "Show local history".
