  how do i check if an uri exists with php? i guess it will return an error code and i can check it before i use file_get_contents...cause if i use file_get_contents on a link that doesnt exist, it give me an error.

  I'm new to symfony and I am trying to run a simple command on the command line but I get an error message. When I try to execute the command: d:\new_xam\xampp\htdocs\sf_sandbox_1_2\sf_sandbox>symfony propel:build-model " I get the error: 'php.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file.   I have setup remote debugging in netbeans. It works except codeigniter only loads the default controller (home page). I have enabled query strings with $config['enable_query_strings'] = TRUE; The debugger opens up a page with the following url http://blinkfilms.ben.dev/myid/tests?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=netbeans-xdebug So codeigniter should fire up the controller in controllers/myid/tests.php

Sometimes I have repeating events, stored as weekly repeating, so if the date is 6-10-10, and I am repeating an event every two weeks from that day (including that day) what is the best way to find dates for every two weeks from 6-10-10? For example, let's say the date is 7-8-10, how can I check to see that date meets my criteria?

  I was given the daunting task of converting a ASP website to PHP and MSSQL to MySQL, and I ran into an issue that hopefully somebody can help I have a user table which has a password field with datatype Varbinary(128), are using pwdencrypt to encrypt the password. Is there a way to transfer that over to MySQL, and somehow i need to be able to keep the password intact... how can i go about that? any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

A view that can allow a user to create/delete/insert/update tables should do. I remember using a software similar to this but dont remember what it was. It would also be great if its in PHP.

Example 1: $regexpA = '[0-9]+'; $regexpB = '[0-9]{2,3}'; hasRegularsIntersection($regexpA,$regexpB) returns TRUE because '12' matches both regexps Example 2: $regexpA = '[0-9]+'; $regexpB = '[a-z]+'; hasRegularsIntersection($regexpA,$regexpB) returns FALSE because numbers never matches literals.   I'm unable to get a working .htaccess that should accept clean URLs to load images. I mean, for example, if a user type this: http://mysite.com/image/example It works perfectly, as my PHP process and parse it. However, if the user type: .../image/example.jpg It doesn't work. I mean, if a user writes that, I want to load the module with the example.jpg as a parameter, I don't want to load the image at all! Thanks in advance.
