  The IBM Toolkit for MPEG-4 comes with the following paragraph in its licence: Rights In Data You assign to IBM all right, title, and interest (including ownership of copyright) in any data, suggestions, and written materials that 1) is related to Your use of the Program and 2) You provide to IBM. If IBM requires it, You will sign an appropriate document to assign such rights. Neither party will charge the other for rights in data or any work performed as a result of this Agreement. Correct me if I am wrong, but I'm understanding that I cannot use their toolkit without give them rights on my software?

There is an input text with defined mask: <input type="text" id="txtMyInput" class="FocusSense"/> and a script: $(document).ready(function () { jQuery(function ($) { $("#txtMyInput").mask("?9.99"); }); $(".FocusSense").focus(function () { this.select(); }); }) As you can see, I would like select all in txtMyInput on focus but but alas! On focus, mask appears and loose .select(). What should I do to preserve mask and .select()?

  Put simply I have an ajax call that sometimes completes before the page is loaded, so I tried wrapping the callback in $( fn ), but the callback doesn't fire if the page is loaded... Anyone have a good solution to this? $.get( '/foo.json', function( data ){ $( function(){ // won't get here if page ready beats the ajax call // process data $( '.someDiv' ).append( someData ); } ); } ); And yes, I know that if I flipped the order of those it would always work, but then my ajax calls would be needlessly deferred until the document is ready.

  Hi, I'm trying to prevent the back button from working on one of my asp.net mvc pages. I've read a couple of places that if i put "window.history.forward(1);" in my page it will prevent the back button from working on a given page. This is what I did in my page: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { window.history.forward(1); }); </script> It doesn't seem to be working.   Hi, I've a div in a absolute position with a default "top" value set to "-200px". When i click on the div the "top" value is updated to "0". In this way I see the entire Div.   Using the HTML5 <canvas> element, I would like to load an image file (PNG, JPEG, etc.), draw it to the canvas completely transparently, and then fade it in. I have figured out how to load the image and draw it to the canvas, but I don't know how to change its opacity once it as been drawn. • Changing class of h2 inside specific div

  I want to make it so that everytime you click on an 'h2' tag, the 'input' inside gets selected and the 'h2' tag changes background, but if another 'h2' tag is clicked, the current highlight and 'input' selection changes accordingly. problem is that I have 3 different that do the same and with my code all the 3 forms are affected rather one. How do i limit my changes to only be contained to that form. • Fancybox2 Inline Content Gallery

  I am trying to create a gallery of inline content with Fancybox 2, and am failing miserably. I checked out some other resources online and they seem to indicate doing this relatively easily, yet, I cannot seem to get it to work.   I am doing a notification system. When a new post is published, users will be notified immediately by an small notification on the screen.   I'm trying to verify that an Account Name is not already in use once a user fills out a form. Is there some jQuery rule I'm not familiar with that would cause this to fail in on submit scenario? In code block 1, I get values returned like they should. Block 2 gives me a blank response.
