  I've got a ILookup< string, List<CustomObject> > from some linq I've done. I'd like to now iterate over the results: foreach(IGrouping<string, List<CustomObject>> groupItem in lookupTable) { groupItem.Key; //You can access the key, but not the list of CustomObject } I know I must be misrepresenting a IGrouping as a KeyValuePair, but now I'm not sure how to access it properly.

NSString *myVariable; - (IBAction) doFirstAction { myVariable = [imageNode getAttributeName:@"value"]; } - (IBAction) doSecondAction { NSLog(@"%@",myVariable); } Any clue as to why I cant access myVariable outside of doFirstAction?

  Using forms authentication, is it possible to return a 404 if a user doesn't have access to content, rather than redirecting them somewhere? I realize I could send them to a 404-ish page, or redirect to a login page that doesn't exist, but I really want to return a 404 from the page they were attempting to access. Possible?

  My application stores lots of its users friends' phone numbers. I'd like to allow users to associate names with these phone numbers, but I don't want to make users manually type in names (obviously). I'm curious what the best overall approach is here, as well as the best way to implement it Overall approach-wise, I imagine using Gmail / Yahoo / Windows Live contacts is best (the Facebook API doesn't let you access phone numbers), though the gems I've found for interacting with these contacts APIs (this and this) only give you access to the names and email addresses of each contact.

  Seems simple but users have no internet access. The application will be hosted internally on as Intranet site. The application will be able to make webservice calls to the internet. I tested and tried Mapquest.   Hi, I'd like to know how people decide whether to define a method as static. I'm aware that a method can only be defined as static if it doesn't require access to instance fields. So lets say we have a method that does not access instance fields, do you always define such a method as static, or only if you need to call it statically (without a reference to an instance).
