  • fitbounds() in Google maps api V3 does not fit bounds

    - by jul
    hi, I'm using the geocoder from Google API v3 to display a map of a country. I get the recommended viewport for the country but when I want to fit the map to this viewport, it does not work (see the bounds before and after calling the fitBounds function in the code below). What am I doing wrong? How can I set the viewport of my map to results[0].geometry.viewport? thanks jul var geocoder = new google.maps.Geocoder(); if(geocoder) { geocoder.geocode({'address': '{{countrycode}}'}, function(results, status) { var bounds = new google.maps.LatLngBounds(); bounds = results[0].geometry.viewport; console.log(bounds); //((35.173, -12.524), (45.244, 5.098)) console.log(map.getBounds()); //((34.628757195038844, -14.683750000000012), (58.28355197864712, 27.503749999999986)) map.fitBounds(bounds); console.log(map.getBounds()); //((25.740113512090183, -24.806750000000005), (52.44233664523719, 17.380749999999974)) }); } }

  • jquery ui autocomplete not working in ie8 (until page refresh)

    - by Andy Simpson
    Hello all, I am using jquery ui autocomplete it is working absolutely fine in all browsers except ie8. I have been doing some testing and there seems to be a strange bug. When I click on a link leading to the relevant page there is the following error generated by ie8 when I start typing in the autocomplete box: 'object doesn't support this property or method' this error points to my development jquery(1.4.2) file at line 4955, char 5 which is the following line: return new window.XMLHttpRequest(); However, if I simply reload the page the autocomplete works. I have added a random bit of data to be called with the autocomplete as I read that ie8 caches it ajax get requests but this does not seem to have solved the problem. Could there be a problem with the timing of the loading of all the relevant files including jquery? If so, how would I fix this? Any other clever ideas?! Andy

  • Fiddler not sniffing SOAP traffic from ASP.NET website

    - by JohnIdol
    So far I've been successfully using fiddler to sniff web service traffic from both test fixtures, console apps and web projects. Today I noticed I am not able anymore to sniff that kind of traffic if I am running my web application (it's a ASP.NET website, hosted locally on IIS). I see all the local traffic but the web service traffic is just gone (the service is being hit as I do see the response debugging into the code). I am still able to successfully sniff soap requests and responses from test fixtures or console apps in the same solution (exact same environment). If it was a windows (I am on Win7) security update or the likes it would never work I guess (unless it affects only traffic routed through IIS). What should I be looking for that could cause the emergence this behavior? Any pointers appreciated!

  • Symbol not found: _OBJC_CLASS_$_UIPopoverController

    - by Paul Peelen
    Hi, I am having problems with my universal app. I have set the Base SDK to iPhone 3.2 and set the target to 3.1. I have moved the files that are using the UIPopoverController to their own files and they shouldn't be loaded when loading the app on the iPhone. Still, when I build my app I get the following error when I build and debug to my device: dyld: Symbol not found: _OBJC_CLASS_$_UIPopoverController Referenced from: /var/mobile/Applications/B3B90643-92DC-4E5C-8B2F-83A42D6D57E0/citybikes.app/citybikes Expected in: /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/UIKit in /var/mobile/Applications/B3B90643-92DC-4E5C-8B2F-83A42D6D57E0/citybikes.app/citybikes I really hope someone can help me. • CC.NET Dashboard Error: Could not load type 'System.Security.Authentication.ExtendedProtection.Chann

    - by Leslie
    Late last week I upgraded CC.NET locally and on the build server. The build server is still fine, but locally I am now getting the following error: Exception Details: Exortech.NetReflector.NetReflectorTypeLoadException: Unable to load types from assembly System.ServiceModel, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089: Failed to load 1 of the 3612 types defined in the assembly. I'm afraid this started after a batch of Windows updates this morning. I had another two updates that won't run, 979909 and 982168 (I had an update that wouldn't run last month). Anyone else having any issues? Thanks!

  • The web publishing extension is not installed which is required to publish

    - by Chong Wang
    I was tring to deploy an ASP.NET Web Application to a Windows Azure Web Site by following the tutorial through this link: https://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/develop/net/tutorials/get-started/ After download the public profile, which is a ".PublishSettings" file, I go back to Visual Studio and right-click the project in Solution Explorer and select Publish from the context menu as the tutorial said. However, a warning box jumped up and it showed me that "The Web Publishing extension is not installed which is required to publish. You can install it from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=208120." I already installed "Windows Azure SDK for .NET (VS 2012)" and I also tried to uninstall this and install again, but the same problem is still there. Anyone knows how to solve this? I am really appreciated.

  • ASP.NET MVC Strongly Typed Partial View, gives could not load type error

    - by Matt
    I am attempting to create a strongly typed view with a "MVC View User Control" that is being rendered using Html.RenderPartial(). The top of my ascx file looks like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>" %> There is nothing else on this page, currently. When I execute the app and load the page that renders this control, I get the following error: Could not load type 'System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>'. So, then I simplified it: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<String>" %> And then, just in case it needed to be fully qualified: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.String>" %> Everytime I get the same error (substituting type). what am I doing wrong here? I'm on .NET 3.5 with ASP.NET MVC 1.0 RTM.

  • Could not open Selected VM debug port (8700)

    - by John Gaby
    I am trying to debug the android source using Eclipse by following the instructions found at: http://source.android.com/using-eclipse I have downloaded the source, and gotten it to build. I follow the directions in the link above and everything is fine until I run the ddms command. At this point, if Eclipse is running I get the error 'Could not open Selected VM debug port (8700)'. If I close Eclipse, then ddms runs with no problem, and I can the the processes on the emulator. However, if I now open Eclipse, I get the same error. In any case, no matter what I do, if I attempt to remote debug, it always fails with 'Failed to connect to remote VM'. Any ideas? Thanks

  • XML/XSD intellisense not working in Visual Studio 2010

    - by Jason
    I am working on xml and xsd files in VS 2010 but intellisense isn't working. Intellisense is working for the same files in VS 2008, however. When I type '<xs:' options like "attribute", "complexType", "simpleType", or "element" do not appear. Is there some difference between the VS 2008 and VS 2010 that I'm missing? I add an xsd file to my solution. All the proper namespaces are generated automatically as such: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xs:schema id="XMLSchema2" targetNamespace="http://tempuri.org/XMLSchema2.xsd" elementFormDefault="qualified" xmlns="http://tempuri.org/XMLSchema2.xsd" xmlns:mstns="http://tempuri.org/XMLSchema2.xsd" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> </xs:schema> The "xsdschema.xsd" is in the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\xml\Schemas" directory. There is a check mark in the "Use" column in the XML Schemas dialog box.

  • UIButton of type UIButtonTypeCustom will not display Title (iPhone)

    - by RickiG
    Hi I must have overlooked something completely obvious?? but my button displays its image and size correctly, but I simply can't get the Title to show up. I did a really simple test, the Title does not even show up when I do this: CGRect frameBtn = CGRectMake(160.0f, 150.0f, 144.0f, 42.0f); UIButton *button = [UIButton buttonWithType:UIButtonTypeCustom]; [button setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"left_halfscreen_button.png"] forState:UIControlStateNormal]; [button setTitle:@"Hello" forState:UIControlStateNormal]; [button setFrame:frameBtn]; NSLog(@"Title:%@", [button currentTitle]); //prints "Title:Hello [self addSubview:button]; I have a factory class that generates custom buttons for me and I thought I messed some detail up there, so I moved the above code directly into my UIView, the title is still blank. Is this a bug or am I simply missing something right in front of my eyes. Thank you for the extra set of eyes:)

  • Button layed out using layout_toLeftOf in a RelativeLayout does not show up

    - by rodion
    Hello all, I am trying to layout a Button to the left of a TextView that is centered on the screen. My layout looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:gravity="center"> <TextView android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:text="foo" android:id="@+id/center" /> <Button android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:text="Left button" android:layout_toLeftOf="@id/center" /> </RelativeLayout> Unfortunately, the button just does not appear. I get the following result: As you see, the button doesn't show up. It works if I use layout_toRightOf, then the button appears to the right of the TextView, just as expected. Any ideas what I am doing wrong here?

Now Pages section in Django CMS 2.0 isn't working: it raises a DoesNotExist exception: Site matching query does not exist. at http://127.0.0.1:8000/admin/cms/page/ The section worked normally before I deleted the example.com site. • Checkbox not being checked when running function

    - by Rudiger
    I have a checkbox that when it is clicked it submits the form to the server to store the detail. All works fine except that after the form is submitted I update a div to say submitted but the checkbox isn't ticked. The page isn't refreshed of course and upon page refresh it is ticked. I thought I might be able to check the box myself as I'm using jQuery but I have a lot of these checkboxes each with a dynamic name so I'm not sure how I would call them. I thought something like: $('input[name=("favourite" + id)]').attr('checked', true); might work but no luck. If I don't call the function on the checkbox being ticked the checkbox behaves normally. Thanks for anything that could help.

  • Not catching all mouse events with wxWidgets

EVT_MOUSEWHEEL calling the function in the EventTable works well, but all other macros have no result at all. And the mousewheel is not really want I want (I just used it to test...) Here is a the basic problem code (mostly generated by the fantastic wxSmith plugin) MouseMain.h #include <wx/frame.h> #include <wx/statusbr.h> //*) class MouseFrame: public wxFrame { public: MouseFrame(wxWindow* parent,wxWindowID id = -1); virtual ~MouseFrame(); private: //(*Handlers(MouseFrame) void OnQuit(wxCommandEvent& event); void OnAbout(wxCommandEvent& event); void OnButton1Click(wxCommandEvent& event); void MouseOver(wxMouseEvent& event); //*) //(*Identifiers(MouseFrame) static const long ID_BUTTON1; static const long ID_STATICBITMAP1; static const long ID_PANEL1; static const long idMenuQuit; static const long idMenuAbout; static const long ID_STATUSBAR1; //*) //(*Declarations(MouseFrame) wxButton* Button1; wxStaticBitmap* StaticBitmap1; wxPanel* Panel1; wxStatusBar* StatusBar1; //*) DECLARE_EVENT_TABLE() }; #endif // MOUSEMAIN_H ...and MouseMain.cpp #include "wx_pch.h" #include "MouseMain.h" #include <wx/msgdlg.h> //(*InternalHeaders(MouseFrame) #include <wx/bitmap.h> #include <wx/intl.h> #include <wx/image.h> #include <wx/string.h> //*) //helper functions enum wxbuildinfoformat { short_f, long_f }; wxString wxbuildinfo(wxbuildinfoformat format) { wxString wxbuild(wxVERSION_STRING); if (format == long_f ) { #if defined(__WXMSW__) wxbuild << _T("-Windows"); #elif defined(__UNIX__) wxbuild << _T("-Linux"); #endif #if wxUSE_UNICODE wxbuild << _T("-Unicode build"); #else wxbuild << _T("-ANSI build"); #endif // wxUSE_UNICODE } return wxbuild; } //(*IdInit(MouseFrame) const long MouseFrame::ID_BUTTON1 = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::ID_STATICBITMAP1 = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::ID_PANEL1 = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::idMenuQuit = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::idMenuAbout = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::ID_STATUSBAR1 = wxNewId(); //*) BEGIN_EVENT_TABLE(MouseFrame,wxFrame) EVT_RIGHT_DCLICK(MouseFrame::MouseOver) EVT_MOUSEWHEEL(MouseFrame::MouseOver) EVT_MOTION(MouseFrame::MouseOver) EVT_RIGHT_DOWN(MouseFrame::MouseOver) //(*EventTable(MouseFrame) //*) END_EVENT_TABLE() MouseFrame::MouseFrame(wxWindow* parent,wxWindowID id) { //(*Initialize(MouseFrame) wxMenuItem* MenuItem2; wxMenuItem* MenuItem1; wxMenu* Menu1; wxMenuBar* MenuBar1; wxFlexGridSizer* FlexGridSizer1; wxMenu* Menu2; Create(parent, id, wxEmptyString, wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, wxDEFAULT_FRAME_STYLE, _T("id")); Panel1 = new wxPanel(this, ID_PANEL1, wxPoint(144,392), wxDefaultSize, wxTAB_TRAVERSAL, _T("ID_PANEL1")); FlexGridSizer1 = new wxFlexGridSizer(0, 3, 0, 0); Button1 = new wxButton(Panel1, ID_BUTTON1, _("TheButton"), wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, 0, wxDefaultValidator, _T("ID_BUTTON1")); FlexGridSizer1->Add(Button1, 1, wxALL|wxALIGN_CENTER_HORIZONTAL|wxALIGN_CENTER_VERTICAL, 5); StaticBitmap1 = new wxStaticBitmap(Panel1, ID_STATICBITMAP1, wxNullBitmap, wxDefaultPosition, wxSize(159,189), wxSUNKEN_BORDER, _T("ID_STATICBITMAP1")); FlexGridSizer1->Add(StaticBitmap1, 1, wxALL|wxALIGN_CENTER_HORIZONTAL|wxALIGN_CENTER_VERTICAL, 5); Panel1->SetSizer(FlexGridSizer1); FlexGridSizer1->Fit(Panel1); FlexGridSizer1->SetSizeHints(Panel1); MenuBar1 = new wxMenuBar(); Menu1 = new wxMenu(); MenuItem1 = new wxMenuItem(Menu1, idMenuQuit, _("Quit\tAlt-F4"), _("Quit the application"), wxITEM_NORMAL); Menu1->Append(MenuItem1); MenuBar1->Append(Menu1, _("&File")); Menu2 = new wxMenu(); MenuItem2 = new wxMenuItem(Menu2, idMenuAbout, _("About\tF1"), _("Show info about this application"), wxITEM_NORMAL); Menu2->Append(MenuItem2); MenuBar1->Append(Menu2, _("Help")); SetMenuBar(MenuBar1); StatusBar1 = new wxStatusBar(this, ID_STATUSBAR1, 0, _T("ID_STATUSBAR1")); int __wxStatusBarWidths_1[1] = { -1 }; int __wxStatusBarStyles_1[1] = { wxSB_NORMAL }; StatusBar1->SetFieldsCount(1,__wxStatusBarWidths_1); StatusBar1->SetStatusStyles(1,__wxStatusBarStyles_1); SetStatusBar(StatusBar1); Connect(ID_BUTTON1,wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED,(wxObjectEventFunction)&MouseFrame::OnButton1Click); Connect(idMenuQuit,wxEVT_COMMAND_MENU_SELECTED,(wxObjectEventFunction)&MouseFrame::OnQuit); Connect(idMenuAbout,wxEVT_COMMAND_MENU_SELECTED,(wxObjectEventFunction)&MouseFrame::OnAbout); //*) } MouseFrame::~MouseFrame() { //(*Destroy(MouseFrame) //*) } void MouseFrame::OnQuit(wxCommandEvent& event) { Close(); } void MouseFrame::OnAbout(wxCommandEvent& event) { wxString msg = wxbuildinfo(long_f); wxMessageBox(msg, _("Welcome to...")); } void MouseFrame::OnButton1Click(wxCommandEvent& event) { } void MouseFrame::MouseOver(wxMouseEvent& event){ wxMessageBox(_("MouseOver event!")); } So my big question: Why are EVT_MOTION, EVT_RIGHT_DOWN or EVT_RIGHT_DCLICK not calling MouseFrame::MouseOver(wxMouseEvent& event) in the way EVT_MOUSEWHEEL does?

  • Richfaces calendar manual input value not binding

    - by John
    Hi, I've got a richfaces calendar component defined as <rich:calendar id="startDate" value="#{myBean.dateSet.startDate}" timeZone="#{myBean.dateSet.timeZone}" datePattern="#{myBean.dateSet.datePattern}" enableManualInput="true" immediate="true"> <a4j:support event="onchanged" action="#{myBean.adjustEndDate}" reRender="startDate,endDate" ajaxSingle="true" /> </rich:calendar> when I'm changing the date using the calendar popup/gui everything is working fine. However when I'm changing it via the input text field, the value is not being updated to myBean.dateSet.startDate, although it is being updated correctly on the calendar component itself (i.e. if I click the icon for calendar popup it shows the updated current date). Any suggestions on how I can get it to update the value to myBean correctly? Thanks!

    I am trying to change the opacity of the image after I click the red button instead of adding the different image, and I should not see the red button on the new image My JS code is below. http://jsfiddle.net/mwPeb/7/ <script> $(document).ready(function () { $(".specialHoverOne").hover(function () { // alert("i am here"); $(".ctaSpecialOne").css("visibility", "visible"); }, function () { $(".ctaSpecialOne").css("visibility", "hidden"); }); $(".ctaSpecialOne").click(function (e) { alert("clicked"); e.preventDefault(); //$(this).closest('.specialHoverOne').unbind("mouseenter").end().parent().siblings('a').children("img").attr("src", //"http://imgs.zinio.com/magimages/62898189/2012/416242497_200.jpg"); $(this).css({ 'opacity': 50 }); }); }); </script>

  • Java JPanel not showing up....

    - by user69514
    I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but the text for my JPanels is not showing up. I just get the question number text, but the question is not showing up. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? import java.awt.*; import java.awt.event.*; import javax.swing.*; import javax.swing.event.*; class NewFrame extends JFrame { JPanel centerpanel; // For the questions.
