  • onload Event in embedded SVG not calling function in attached script. Scope Issue?

    Hi So I've got an XHTML page with a script - not inline > <script type="text/javascript" > src="../global/js/scripts.js"></script> and an embedded (I tried embed and object, same behavior) SVG document with a onload="CheckIfLoaded(evt)" attribute. The problem is firefox doesn't call the CheckIfLoaded() function in scripts.js. Firebug gives me "CheckIfLoaded() is not defined" with no reference to any line numbers. I can't find any information regarding the scope of javascript functions with respect to embedded content. Curiously, it works fine in IE. I could of course add a reference to the script into the SVG file as well but I believe that will result in the client downloading the scripts file twice and in addition I have 1000+ svg files and I'd really rather not add one line to all of them, although I suppose I could write a batch file or whatever if I have to.   • Code Igniter email protocols and rendering HTML emails?

    I have a website built in code igniter that emails users. I use CI's email class from the controller to do mail out, but I discovered that if I use the "mail" protocol, some (not all) users see un-rendered html emails with the html mark up viewable, while others do not. But if I use the "sendmail" protocol, all users get rendered html emails. So if I did this $config['protocol'] = 'mail'; // add a few more config entries $this->email->initialize($config); Not everyone sees html emails If I did this $config['protocol'] = 'sendmail'; // add a few more config entries $this->email->initialize($config); Everyone sees html emails Why does the protocol matter? Are the email headers different between the two?

  • Why are these floats wrapping in Internet Explorer?

    My website, ReadyMadeWeb.com, looks great in FireFox, Safari, and Chrome, but of course IE has different plans for the floats used the in the #content area. You can see what I mean if you view the site in IE. The main column is pushed below the first sidebar. The content boxes and the de.licio.us sidebar both sit within another div. I have looked at overflow and clear settings, but changing those has not helped. Any ideas?

  • Building an XML editor in java and RichFaces

    Hello I'm building an XML editor using the above technologies. In essence, I want to read in a whole XML file to a java object, and refer using this object to each element in the XML node tree (grouped into entries) to display the content locked, have separate padlocks for the user to click to 'unlock' an entry allow overwriting of the data, and to submit this entry. 'Add entry', 'Duplicate entry', 'Delete entry' are also functions I'd like to add. I already use dom4j and XPath to access areas of the XML file so some of the work in theory is already done. Given the above, I was going to use these two together with inplaceInputs to allow the user to edit the XML and JSF validators to check the data coming in. Is this the best way to approach this problem, or is there a more straightforward route than XPathing a whole record? I started looking at jaxb but I'm new at java and jsf but I've got the feeling I won't be by the end.. Thanks

  • Silverlight TabItem template not working correctly

    Hello everybody! In a SL4 application i need to restyle my TabItems (actually add a button in the header). So i took the TabItem's control template from here and added the functionality i wanted. This seems to work fine, (i could dynamically add tabitems) with one exception: i think this posted control template is behaving somehow "arbitrary": every time the mouse hoovers over a non selected TabItem header, this gets selected WHITHOUT clicking!! (afaik this is not the default behavior: the user user has to click a header to make this tabitem the selected one). I tried to find why it is behaving like this, with no luck! Is there someone who can enlighten my darkness??? Thanks in advance!

From the above example, my understanding is that both P_Id, LastName together represents a Primary Key for the table Persons, correct ? Another question is why would some one want to use multiple columns as Primary keys instead of a single column ? How many such columns can be used in together as Primary key in a given table ?     Hello, I have a DrawingGroup and I want to put it on a Canvas, but because DrawingGroup is no UIElement, this is not possible. Whats the best way to do this? And from which class could I derive, so that I could do something like canvas1.Children.Add(new myDrawingGroup()); (Meaning I want to add my DrawingGroup as one element on the canvas, instead of several single Drawings / Geometries. It's iconsistent with the other datastore objects in my api (which all have a single column PK indexer), and I'm guessing most people don't expect an indexer to return a collection in this situation.

    Hello I have a ADO.NET dataTable with about 100.000 records. In this table there is a column "xyID" which has no values in it, because they are generated by insertion into my MSSQL Database. Now i have the problem, that i need this IDs for other processes. I am looking for a way to bulk copy this dataTable into the MSSQL database, and within the same "step" to "fill" my dataTable with the generated IDs. Thank you for your answers!

    Hi, I'm trying to add cookies to a webbrowser from a cookiecollection. I add them as they should be added but then they are not sent when the request is done. Here is the code I have done hitherto: public void myNav(string url, CookieCollection cc) { foreach (Cookie cook in cc) { webBrowser1.Document.Cookie = cook.ToString(); } this.webBrowser1.Navigate(url); Clipboard.SetText(webBrowser1.Document.Cookie); } If I copy the cookies to the clipboard they are sent correctly, but If I analyse the request with Wireshark they are not sent in the headers.     Does anyone know how I can add text into the toolbar? I would like to add some text to one of the buttons just like how the button for "Source" has the small icon, but also has the word "Source" beside it to describe what that button does. Basically none of my test users knows that the little mountain icon is used insert an image. Because of this, I would like to either replace that icon with the words "upload image" or I'd like to keep that little mountain icon, and have the words "upload image" beside it, to help people understand that's the icon for images.

    I have a Silverlight TextBox control that is inside of a Grid column with the width set to 'Auto', so the TexBox's width expands/contracts with the browser window is resized. Unfortunately, when the number of characters entered into the textbox exceeds the textbox's width, the textbox grows to accommodate it. Are there any properties that can be applied to the textbox that will force it to not expand with the number of characters inside of it? Thanks.

    Hey everyone! I'm using a Paypal add to cart button for a simple ecommerce website. I had a Paypal IPN handler written in PHP that was successfully working for 'Buy it Now' buttons and purchasing one item at a time. I would run a database query each time to update the store's inventory to reflect the purchase. Now I'm upgrading this store to a 'cart' version so people could check out with multiple items at a time. Would anyone be able to tell me, in general, how my IPN handler would need to be altered to accommodate this?     I have upgraded a CXF web service implementation from Apache CXF 2.0.12 to 2.2.7 and now I can't connect from a remote computer. http://localhost:9000/Data?wsdl works on the installed computer. http://computername:9000/Data?wsdl from a remote computer does not work anymore (worked before upgrade).   • Compare Products Sidebar Item Doesn't Show Products

    Hello, When I click "Add to Compare" on a product, a message stating that "such-and-such product successfully added to compare list" appears, however the compare products sidebar shows "You have no items to compare." If I do a print_r($this->helper('catalog/product_compare')->getItemCount()) in template/catalog/product/compare/sidebar.phtml, "0" is returned. Why won't the sidebar show the products to compare? Info: Magento version 1.4.0.1 Sessions appear to work for I can add products to the cart and they will stay in the cart as I navigate around the site. Thank you, Ben

    I'm using Zend_Navigation and am trying to integrate it with Zend_Acl. Each page in the navigation has a privilege attribute. What I can't determine is how to define multiple privileges for a single page. Use case: A page that is for managing users. I want to display that page (in navigation) if the current signed in user's role has add, edit, or delete privileges on the Users resource. Example entry in the navigation XML: <admin_users> <label>Users</label> <route>default</route> <controller>admin</controller> <action>users</action> <resource>Users</resource> <privilege>add,edit,delete</privilege> </admin_users> Using a comma-separated list as above doesn't lend the desired behavior.
