  • Open an external program in Qt with an attached file extension

    I am making a qt application which allows the user to select a file and then upon clicking ok, start the associated program with the file already loaded. The program I want to start is java based, and I know how to use QProcess to get it to open, I don't know however how to add the file extension which the user is selecting. Any suggestions?

    I'd like to create rule to be able to do something like this @Test public void testValidationDefault(int i) throws Throwable {..} Where i is parameter passed to the test by @Rule. However I do get java.lang.Exception: Method testValidationDefault should have no parameters is there any way to bypass it and set the i parameter in the @Rule?

    I've got a string: public://imageifarm/3600.jpg How can I extract the imageifarm/3600.jpg Part out using android? What I've tried so far: URL drupalQuestionNodeImageURI = new URL("public://imageifarm/3600.jpg"); Log.d("TAG", drupalQuestionNodeImageURI.getPath()); but it throws this exception: 09-16 17:24:39.992: W/System.err(3763): java.net.MalformedURLException: Unknown protocol: public How can I solve this? I know I can use regular expressions but that seems to defeat the purpose of URL(URI) in this case.

I wanna write my own ArrayList class to code this functionality and make sure that every instantiations of ArrayList use my class. But this code doesn't let me set a phone number to dial after i setup the port and before I transfer the file. Is there any way of sharing the port with another application that dials the phone number?

List<? extends Animal> means we can stuff any object in the List which IS A Animal then won't the following also mean the same thing: List<Animal> Can someone help me know the difference between the above two? I want to read the data from the scanner and the cash register, and send the data to a program, which has a table with items in a shop. And provide a function which removes items, too.   • onDateSet does not get called from DatePickerDialog on tablet

    I am using a DatePickerDialog to prompt the user for a date. It works fine in the simulator and on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but onDateSet does not get called on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. I noticed, that the dialog is bigger and shows a calendar besides the normal spin view. Can that be the problem?
