• Maintaing list order in binary tree.

  Given a sequence of numbers, I want to insert the numbers into a balanced binary tree such that when I do a preorder traversal on the tree, it gives me the sequence back. How can I construct the insert method corresponding to this requirement? Remember that the tree must be balanced, so there isn't a completely trivial solution. I was trying to do this with a modified version of an AVL tree, but I'm not sure if this can work out.

What I want to do is to be able to generate a .pdf version file at specified points in time and save it in a uploads directory, so there is no browser interaction. Is this possible?

  I know that app config is used to provide environmental type of values for process variables. And it is very much key/value oriented. But I have a process (windows service) that uses a skeleton xml template file to produce a fuller version of that file after processesing. What about the idea of including that 'skeleton xml' in the app config file? I am trying to aviod having a standalone xml skeleton file, since it is 'configuration' related, in a way.

• Eclipse: Is it possible to have CDT and Java IDE together

  Hi I have an Eclipse CDT enviroment up and running and customised just the way I like it. I'm also going to be heavily dealing with java soon and I don't want to install a seperate version of Eclipse just to get the java features as I'll be switching between C-C++-ADA-Java quite often so I'd wont the one IDE to support all languages. At the moment I've got C/C++ and Ada working together (CDT + GNAT workbench). How can I get the Eclipse Java IDE with out installing eclipse from scratch again. Thanks

• Is copying /var/lib/mysql a good alterntive to mysqldump?

  Since I'm making a full backup of my entire debian system, I was thinking if having a copy of /var/lib/mysql directory is a viable alternative to dumping tables with mysqldump. are all informations needed contained in that directory? can single tables be imported in another mysql? can there be problems while restoring those files on a (probably slightly) different mysql server version?

  There is a charset parameter in htmlspecialchars but the decode version does not have it. In comparison to the similar htmlentities, the encode and decode functions both have the charset parameter. So I can't choose what charset I am decoding back to?

I have created a bitmap button in a panel, and I would like to be able to drag it to a different panel and drop I there. I haven't found any examples using buttons, just text and files.   A DNN site version 05.02.00(275) When editing a HTML module the following happens: If I make the changes and save before the cookie "portalaliasid" expires (within 1 minute) all is well. BUT if I stay in the editor for a longer time, say 2 minutes, and posting I end up at the editor again with the old content. All my previous work is lost. So actually, it's just doing this: jQuery.fn.setCursorPosition = function(pos) { // function body omitted, not relevant to question } What's the reason for the original, more confusing version?

  So i've read around that instead of calling a event directly with if (SomeEvent != null) SomeEvent(this, null); i should be doing SomeEventHandler temp = SomeEvent; if (temp != null) temp(this, null); Why is this so? How does the second version become thread safe? What is the best practice?

  I am new to distutils.. I am trying to include few data files along with the package.. here is my code.. from distutils.core import setup setup(name='Scrapper', version='1.0', description='Scrapper', packages=['app', 'db', 'model', 'util'], data_files=[('app', ['app/scrapper.db'])] ) The zip file created after executing python setup.py sdist does not include the scrapper.db file. I have scrapper.db file in the app directory.. thanks for the help.
