    I was thinking about creating making AIM pluggin that checks pandora one (desktop) or pandora website periodically to see what is currently playing and update a user's status. I suppose the main question is there a clever way to access a "public" variable from some open Adobe Air process? I KNOW this sounds like some crazy security flaw, but it may also be a feature.     All of a sudden it seems when ever I open a window on my Kubuntu (9.10) system, the windows dock in the upper left corner and can't be moved. There is nor border on the windows, no min/max/close buttons in the upper right corner of the windows. I tried opening a term window but it seems I can't type in the window.     We're currently evaluating different Java reporting engines, and having a web-based ad-hoc report designer is a requirement. We don't need anything too fancy, but we need users to be able to define a report with columns X, grouped by Y, sorted by Z, etc... We've found that many of the open source tools do have graphical report designers, but the designers are typically not web based. (For example, iReport from JasperReports seems to be an application, not a web tool) Can anyone recommend a reporting tool which meets this web-based requirement?

    I ask this question because the international standardization subcommittee for programming languages, or ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22 Programming languages, states on this page: http://www.open-std.org/JTC1/SC22/WG14/www/standards that Technical Corrigendum 3, the latest one, was published in 2007. The game stores lots of information (about 300 rows) per website and spends a lot of time updating values within this MySQL database. Is it better (faster/efficient) to add a new table for every website or to just have 1000's of rows in one table and add a column "website_id" or similar?
