    I'm working on the MVC app where I've to generate the report in the form of HTML page. If the user click the print icon, I've to show the HTML page to user. If the user click on email icon, I've to send email with same HTML page attachment. I'm trying to find a way where I can use the same code to generate the HTML in both cases of email and print. Please provide your suggestions.

    i ve used pagination. what the problem is for example: i ve 3 pages 1) in the first i'm clicking some checkboxes and 2) i move on to the second and 3) return back to the 1st page the checkbox that i already checked is unchecked. for form submission i need the checkbox status that i ve checked on all pages should be submit. i need a detail description and clear answer for my question.     I was wondering, if I was making a file or image hosting/transfer site, whether or not there was a good approach to check for viruses for files that users are uploading? I was thinking of this: Use traditional PHP file upload form to upload the file to the server. Put files in a queue folder Move the queue folder to a "process" folder, and replace queue folder after a predetermined limit (time, cronjob, file count, collective file size) Run a command line virus scan on files in process folder Place safe files in holding area for use Is this a good approach?

    I need to replace url invalid characters with something url valid then convert it back again. This is for a search page with a url like http://my.site/search/this-is-a-search, the search form POSTS then the user redirected to the new url. Php has functions urlencode and urldecode however these do not work at all, and leave invalid characters in my url. Surely I don't need to reinvent the wheel here.

When I hit enter on the textbox, I want a function to run, then the drop down menu to close. I know how to get the enter part done, but I have no idea how to close the MenuStrip dropdown menu. Does anybody know how to do this?

    Hi all - I'm creating a flash application that will post images to a url for saving to disk/display later. I was wondering what are some suggested strategies for making this secure enough so that the upload is verified as coming from the application and not just some random form post. Is it reliable enough to check referring location realizing that I don't need bulletproof security, or perhaps setting authentication headers is a better strategy even though it seems unreliable from what I have read. I tried using splitting by spaces and then using '=' characters but string inside quotes can also have '='. is there any different kind of split method which can also take care of quotes?
