• Sunspot_Rails Rake Aborted When Running Reindex

  I'm getting the following output after running rake sunspot:reindex. I'm a novice at Rails. I want to add sunspot_rails to my project to add search functionality (with the hope of deploying the project with Heroku). I'm using Rails 3. I followed the instructions here: https://github.com/outoftime/sunspot/blob/master/sunspot_rails/README.rdoc. My various other attempts to diagnose the problem included: installing sunspot in addition to sunspot_rails. • Makefile: finding include/lib for libraries installed through macports

  Libraries/include files installed by macports go in /opt/local/lib and /opt/local/include, neither of which are scanned by gcc/ld by default. As a result, a project I'm working on won't compile in that environment. Should this be fixed by manually adding -L/opt/local/lib to my Makefile's LDFLAGS (and -I... as well), or is there some configuration that should be done to fix this globally on the computer?

The lack of TRACE messages seems to indicate that my log4j2.xml settings aren't on the classpath either. Why should there be any difference in classpath if I'm running Foo.main versus LoggerTest.main? Or is there something else causing this behavior? Update I used SBT Assembly to build a fat jar of this project and specified logtest.LoggerTest to be the main class.   If my project name is ABC and the DLL currently outputs as ABC.DLL, how can I make my DLL be outputted as say CBA.DLL and so that when the .LIB is compiled linked against, it is not looking for ABC.DLL, but CBA.DLL. I tried changing the name under Linker General Output File but when I linked to the .lib in my other application, it was still looking for ABC.DLL and CBA.DLL.

Here are the main errors: 'Public Property ID As Integer' has multiple definitions with identical signatures. Method 'Onaddress_IDChanging' cannot be declared 'Partial' because only one method 'Onaddress_IDChanging' can be marked 'Partial'. If I had a changeset I could undo the commit with: bk undo -r<rev> But in this case I can't commit and undo the changeset because I have other checked-in files that I don't want to touch.

If it is the later, can you still be considered a good coder.
