When I insert the new item appears after the last created item, but I want it to be entered at the bottom of the table. Suppose that I have a table id=int,Primary Key and album=string and the table is: Wrath Crack The Skye Enter Shikari What would the MySQL query be if php variable $album=myAlbum was to be inserted next, at the end of the table, and with the appropriate id?   Hi, I have an application in which I need to pass an array from C# to a C++ DLL. What is the best method to do it? I did some search on Internet and figured out that I need to pass the arrays from C# using ref. The code for the same: status = IterateCL(ref input, ref output); The input and output arrays are of length 20. and the corresponding code in C++ DLL is IterateCL(int *&inArray, int *&outArray) This works fine for once. But if I try to call the function from C# in a loop the second time, the input array in C# is showing up as an array of one element. Why is this happening and please help me how I can call this function iteratively from C#. Thanks, Rakesh.

  I have some code that prints a string, but if the string is say: "Blah blah blah"... and there are no line breaks, the text occupies a single line.   Hi, I need to filter a XPath expression to grab only a certain attribute as not empty. I tried this: <xsl:template match="DocumentElement/QueryResults[string(@FileName)]"> and this: <xsl:template match="DocumentElement/QueryResults[string-length(@FileName)>0]"> but it did not work. I need the same kind of data returning from the folloing XPath expression... <xsl:template match="DocumentElement/QueryResults"> ... but filtered to avoid items with empty attribute @FileName. Even I don't know how to see what dirs are on my PATH variable (and this is another good question that could be answered), what I'd like to know is: I come to shell and write: $ lshw I want to know a command on shell that can tell me WHERE this command is located. In other words, where this "executable file" is located? Something like: $ location lshw /usr/bin Anyone?

• Is it a good idea to use .Net for commercial software?

  I was playing around with .Net reflector today and realized that Miicrosoft's entire Expression suite is written in .Net. As a result I was pretty much able to see the underlying code for expression. This makes it far easier than binary to break copy protection. I think that that's a big deal. Is it generally recommended to make commercial software in .Net where it is fairly easy to see the source code down to the variable names? I was surprised that Microsoft didn't at least dotfescate it. Thanks

  I have managed to write several interpreters including Tokenizing Parsing, including more complicated expressions such as ((x+y)*z)/2 Building bytecode from syntax trees Actual bytecode execution What I didn't manage: Implementation of dictionaries/lists/arrays. I always got stuck with getting multiple values into one variable. My value structure (used for all values passed around, including variables) looks like this, for example: class Value { public: ValueType type; int integerValue; string stringValue; } Works fine with integers and strings, but how could I implement arrays? (From now on with array I mean arrays in my experimental language, not in C++) How can I fit the array concept into the Value class above? Is it possible? How should I make arrays able to be passed around just as you could pass around integers and strings in my language, using the class above? Accessing array elements or memory allocation wouldn't be the problem, I just don't know how to store them.

How to force HttpWebRequest to use cache in ASP.NET environment?

• OracleDataAdapter returns no rows, but the query string works in SQLDeveloper

  visual studion 2008 oracle db 11.1.0.7 oracle client for .NET I have a relatively simple query, that selects the rows from across multiple tables (up to 4) using joins. OracleDataAdapter returns no rows for the only dataset's table, but if I copy and paste that query in SQLDeveloper then I get the desired results. I can get the data from other tables using the adapter with no problem, but it seems like it struggles with the bit longer selection query (string length is ~ 300 (not that much at all)) Connection string for the connection is 100% correct. Any ideas? thank you...

• How do you use Exslt.dyn (especially the 'evaluate' method) in Umbraco?

  I am trying to execute the string contained in an XSL variable. Umbraco has hooks for several Exslt pieces, but it seems the Exslt.dyn (Exslt.dynamic) is not one of them. How do you add it in? Acceptable methods (in order of preference: Writing your own XSLT extension (possibly using existing Umbraco code for Exslt Dynamic). Uploading the XSL from http://www.exslt.org/dyn/functions/evaluate/index.html into Umbraco. Modifying the Umbraco source to add it (possibly using existing Umbraco code for Exslt Dynamic). The reason I mention Exslt Dyanmic is because some Umbraco XSLT sources show a reference that I am assuming existing in some versions of Umbraco. I cannot find it in the source code, however. • C#: Why am I getting "the process cannot access the file * because it is being used by another proce

  I'm trying to convert bmp files in a folder to jpg, then delete the old files. The code works fine, except it can't delete the bmp's. • How should I handle searching through byte arrays in Java?

  Preliminary: I am writting my own httpclient in Java. I am trying to parse out the contents of chunked encoding. Here is my dilema: Since I am trying to parse out chunked http transfer encoding with a gzip payload there is a mix of ascii and binary. I can't just take the http resp content and convert it to a string and make use of StringUtils since the binary data can easily contain nil characters. So what I need to do is some basic things for parsing out each chunk and its chunk length (as per chunked transfer/HTTP/1.1 spec). Are there any helpful ways of searching through byte arrays of binary/part ascii data for certain patterns (like a CR LF) (instead of just a single byte) ? Or must I write the for loops for this?

• Update options to jQuery slider via form

  I have a jQuery Slider, and I am trying to make it more dynamic by adding three input fields: min max step I want to take those fields and then onblur update my slider options. I read that you can set options like this: $('.selector').slider('option', 'max', 7); And do the same for min,step, etc along with the other options. I tried playing with it yesterday, but I'm not sure how to get it to update. I am using a form with no submit button, so just change on blur. I know I would get the .val() of the input and set it to a variable then would it be: $('.selector').slider('option', 'max', var_here); Any thoughts?

  I wish to sort a space separated table, with the numerical value that found on the 2nd field. I can assume that the 2nd field is always fooN but the length of N is unknown: antiq. foo11 girls colleaguing foo2 Leinsdorf Cousy foo0 Montgomeryville bowlegged foo1 pollack Chevrier foo10 ill-conceived candlebomb foo3 seventieths autochthony foo101 re-enable beneficiate foo100 osteometric I read man sort(1) and played with all sort of options. On my system I found the line: sort -n -k2.5 table to work. My question is why? According to the man page: -k, --key=POS1[,POS2] start a key at POS1, end it at POS 2 (origin 1) ... POS is F[.C][OPTS], where F is the field number and C the characterposition in the field. OPTS is one or more single-letter ordering options, which override global ordering options for that key. If no key is given, use the entire line as the key. So why sort -n -k2.4 table don't work and sort -n -k.5 does?

  I feel bad asking this question but I am currently not able to program and test this as I'm writing this on my cell-phone and not on my dev machine :P (Easy rep points if someone answers! XD ) Anyway, I've had experience with using hashvalues from String objects. E.g., if I have StringA and StringB both equal to "foo", they'll both compute out the same hashvalue, because they're set to equal values. Now what if I have a List, with T being a native data type. If I tried to compute the hashvalue of ListA and ListB, assuming that they'd both be the same size and contain the same information, wouldn't they have equal hashvalues as well? Assuming as sample dataset of 'byte' with a length of 5 {5,2,0,1,3}

  Hello! I'm working on a RakNet-based project (using 3.8 on OS X 10.6), and I'm trying to work through the various examples that demonstrate the parts of RakNet I want to use. For the "NatCompleteClient" example, I've imported the source into a command-line project in XCode, along with the UPNP dependency. At compile time I've had a few errors in the UPNP section, though, and I can't find any guidance on this. In UPNPPortForwarder.mm, there are 7 lines that use _FILE_AND_LINE_, and the compiler is not happy; for example on line 232: foundInterfaces.Deallocate(r1,_FILE_AND_LINE_); causes: UPNPPortForwarder.mm:232: error: '_FILE_AND_LINE_' was not declared in this scope Can anyone tell me what this is all about? That variable doesn't seem to get talked about very often... or Google doesn't like to find it.
