    Hi all. Is there any way where I can get the executed query of iBatis? I want to reuse the query for an UNION query. For example: <sqlMap namespace="userSQLMap"> <select id="getUser" resultClass="UserPackage.User"> SELECT username, password FROM table WHERE id=#value# </select> </sqlMap> And when I execute the query through int id = 1 List<User> userList = queryDAO.executeForObjectList("userSQLMap.getUser",id) I want to get SELECT username, password FROM table WHERE id=1 Is there any way I could get the query?     One of the questions I was asked was that I have a database table with following columns pid - unique identifier orderid - varchar(20) documentid - int documentpath - varchar(250) currentLocation - varchar(250) newlocation - varchar(250) status - varchar(15) I have to write a c# app to move the files from currentlocation to newlocation and update status column as either 'SUCCESS' or 'FAILURE'. This was my answer Create a List of all the records using linq Create a command object which would be perform moving files using foreach, invoke a delegate to move the files - use endinvoke to capture any exception and update the db accordingly I was told that command pattern and delegate did not fit the bill here - i was aksed to think and implement a more favorable GoF pattern. Not sure what they were looking for - In this day and age, do candidates keep a lot of info on head as one always has google to find any answer and come up with solution.

    Hi, I'd like to write a method that can accept a type param (or whatever the method can figure out the type from) and return a value of this type so I don't have to cast the return type. Here is a method: public Object doIt(Object param){ if(param instanceof String){ return "string"; }else if(param instanceof Integer){ return 1; }else{ return null; } } When I call this method, and pass in it a String, even if I know the return type will be a String I have to cast the return Object. This is similar to the int param. How shall I write this method to accept a type param, and return this type?

    HI all, I have a issue that when I try to write some bytes in the outputstream, I am getting the bad access. The code is as follows : int writtenBytes = [_os write:[packetInBytes bytes] maxLength:lengthOfPacket]; where the "packetInBytes" points to NSData and "lengthOfPacket" corresponds to the data length, and _os represents the NSOutputStream. I want to submit the form and retrieve the checkbox values and capture the checked boxes.     I am trying to add files to an existing zip file. Whenever i do, the new one contains the new list of files im passing in, but all of the previous ones are wiped out.     I've tried the bare method and the T4MVC method but so far both are routing me to the current URL instead of the default path with no arguments for the following action: public virtual ActionResult Index(byte? location, int? sublocation) { } So when I try Url.Action("Index","Locations", new {location="", system=""}) if I'm at a location already this method returns the path to where I'm already at instead of the default path with no arguments.     I made an automation Add-In for Excel, and I made several functions (formulas). I have a class which header looks like this (it is COM visible): [ClassInterface(ClassInterfaceType.AutoDual)] [ComVisible(true)] public class Functions {} In a list of methods, I see: ToString(), Equals(), GetHashCode() and GetType() methods. Since all methods of my class are COM visible, I should somehow hide those 4. I succeeded with 3 of them: ToString(), Equals(), GetHashCode() but GetType() cannot be overriden. Here is what I did with 3 of them: [ComVisible(false)] public override string ToString() { return base.ToString(); } [ComVisible(false)] public override bool Equals(object obj) { return base.Equals(obj); } [ComVisible(false)] public override int GetHashCode() { return base.GetHashCode(); } This doesn't work: [ComVisible(false)] public override Type GetType() { return base.GetType(); } Here is the error message in Visual Studio when compile: ..GetType()': cannot override inherited member 'object.GetType()' because it is not marked virtual, abstract, or override So, what should I do to hide the GetType() method from COM?

    I have a stringtoList ArrayList that needs to return tokens from a StreamTokenizer but the s.sval is not compiling at run-time, can anyone help me with this problem: private List<Token> stringToList(final String string) { // TODO your job // follow Main.main but put the tokens into a suitable list ArrayList<Token> al = new ArrayList<Token>(); String word = ""; String in = string; StreamTokenizer s = new StreamTokenizer(new StringReader(in)); int token; while ((token = s.nextToken()) != StreamTokenizer.TT_EOF) { if (token == StreamTokenizer.TT_WORD) { DefaultToken t = (s.sval, s.lineno()); //problem here, not reading the sval from the StreamTokenizer!!! al.add(t); } return al; } } Any help would be most appreciated

    I haven't done much multithreading before and now find the need to do some background work and keep the UI responsive. I have the following code. data.ImportProgressChanged += new DataAccess.ImportDelegate(data_ImportProgressChanged); Thread importThread = new Thread( new ThreadStart(data.ImportPeopleFromFAD)); importThread.IsBackground = true; importThread.Start(); void data_ImportProgressChanged(int progress) { toolStripProgressBar.Value = progress; } //In my data object I have public void ImportPeopleFromFAD() { ImportProgressChanged(someInt); } But the UI doesn't get updated since the ImportProgressChanged() call is made on the background thread. In objective C I know you can use performSelectorOnMainThread and pass it a method to call using the main thread. What is the equivalent way of calling ImportProgressChanged() from the main thread?

  • NSMutableArray count method show the NSMutableArray is count 0?

    This is my init method: -(id)init{ self = [super init]; magicNumber = 8; myMagicArray = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:(magicNumber*magicNumber)]; NSLog(@"this is the magic Array: %d", [myMagicArray count]); return self; } This is the .h: @interface Magic : NSObject { NSMutableArray *myMagicArray; int magicNumber; } The console shows me that number is 0. instead of 64, wt's happen?
